Thanks for fixing the image links in secondary countries.
I have been looking everywhere for the option to change the link to the add to cart button ONLY for secondary countries and I can’t find it. I only find on the unit itself the option for the cart button to take you to the product page or to add to cart, but this would apply to all countries, not just secondary ones. Can you tell me where that option is that you say only changes to a link for secondary countries?
Regarding Amazon USA, I think it is available for all these countries:
Bermuda, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Canada, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Guadeloupe, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Micronesia, French Guiana, Jamaica, Saint Martin and Martinique.
I think it is made from Amazon.com USA. So when we enter the website from Bolivia (for example) the label for amazon.com and the link for amazon.com should appear, right?
Thank you!!!
- It’s true, the search would be in another language and it wouldn’t work either, I didn’t think about it hahaha.
- I have removed the “buy” button as you indicate. But it will be removed for both the primary and secondary countries. It would be good if it only disappeared for secondary countries so we could have it keep it in the primary country.
- However, I have realized one thing. When you are in a secondary country, the product link leads to the label of the secondary country and the Amazon of the secondary country. This is correct, but if you click on the image, the link has the label of the primary country and takes you to the Amazon of the primary country. This link is not changing by geolocation.
- Another thing that I have seen is that, for example, we have when the same Amazon sells to several countries. For example, Amazon.com USA sells in several countries in South America. I think for example Colombia. Well, I have been trying with VPN and if I enter from Colombia it does not show the Amazon USA label and it does not take you to the USA website, but rather the one from my primary country (Spain) appears and takes you to the Amazon Spain website. I have tried other countries in South America and none of them take me to Amazon USA, the Spanish label always appears. Shouldn’t I carry Amazon USA with the Amazon USA label when I enter from Colombia for example?
I already know that the case of Mexico is special, I have not considered this country yet.
There are a lot of questions, but I think it’s good to see these points. Thank you very much for your attention.

Well, this matter is resolved. I mark it as resolved. Thank you so much!!!!
Hello!!! First of all, thank you very much for the special version of the plugin. I have installed it and it works perfectly, exactly as you say.
It would be good if you included this improvement in future versions of the plugin.
As a suggestion, I will tell you two ideas that I think would improve this problem and make it work much better.
- Instead of the add to cart button leading to an empty cart in a secondary country, it would be better if it led to the product search page just as the product link itself does right now. And since normally, the product does not exist in the secondary country because you are searching by the Amazon id, it would be good if the search term it leads you to is the title of the product, since now, the search term it searches for is the Amazon id and then The results are: “the product does not exist.” If we searched by product title, Amazon would surely show better results.
- That also the link of the product itself in a secondary country, which now leads to the search for the ID of the product on Amazon, instead of leading to searching for the ID, leads to searching by the title of the product just as I have explained in the point 1 for the cart button.
I think these changes should not be very difficult to implement, just change two variables and they would be a very good improvement to the plugin.
In any case, thank you very much and sorry for writing so much.
thanks for the reply.
Well, I didn’t know if this was the normal functioning of the plugin. From what you tell me, I understand that it’s not that I have anything wrong, but that this is how the plugin works normally. okay.
I think that for other countries, the plugin could also cache products from other countries. For example, I use it for Spain and now also for the USA. Then the plugin could also cache US products and when the website visitor is from the US, show them the US products. it’s a suggestion.
Regarding the cart button, the problem is that it puts the Spanish label in the link but it takes you to the USA website. then we are losing the customer. I think it would be preferable then to be able to hide the button when visitor IS from a secondary country or make the button to carry the label of the second country even if it leads you to the empty cart. I think this would be quick and good for an update.
thank you!!!!
i saw that there was an update. I updated and now It works.
But the stars o revises now are missing.
thanks!!!
Hello!! Me too!!!
The plugin stopped working, then I saw that there was a new update, I installed it and it worked again.
However, now the format of the blocks has changed, and the stars do not appear. And the buy button does not appear either!
What happened?
Thank you so much for your attention!!!
Hello,
Yes, I agree and also very happy with the plugin and with your attention.
However, I think it would be good that for future updates, you make the plugin detect these cookies and classify well and label those scripts so that they work correctly, since they are very popular cookies that the plugin should detect.
There are 2 problems here:
Problem 1 is that the plugin has not detected these cookies (which are Google cookies quite common).
Problem 2 is that once I have manually added the “marketing” and “statistics” tags in the scripts, the javascript of another plugin breaks.
So problem 2, it’s not Complianz’s fault.
But problem 1 is indeed a Complianz bug and it continues.
So I suggest as an improvement that for future updates you make Complianz detect these codes and add data-category=”marketing” or “statistics” to their javascript tags.
I don’t know if you are part of the development team, but if not, please pass it on to the developers so they can implement the improvement. (are Google cookies quite common)
For the rest, very happy with everything, I’m going to give the plugin 5 stars right now.
THANK YOU!!!
Well, during these 2 or 3 days, I have pressed the synchronize button from time to time and little by little it has been synchronizing more cookies each time.
Today it has synchronized many more, and only a few are missing, so I guess it will be some connection difficulty but not an error in the plugin itself.
I already have almost all of them synchronized, so I consider the issue resolved.
THE PLUGIN IS GREAT, only a small detail is missing that is helping me in another thread of the forum and I think it will be solved soon.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!
Hello!!
Thanks for your attention, first of all.
I have tried to install the plugin and I have not been able to (I have tried to install it on the local machine, but I do not think that this influences).
I have tried to add the plugin directly from the WordPress installation panel and when uploading the zip file it tells me that it cannot be installed, that the link has expired. I don’t understand.
I have unzipped the zip and placed the folder directly in the plugins folder and it does not work, it does not detect it as a plugin.
The zip contains two folders, one that is “__MACOSX” and one that is “complianz-gdpr”. I don’t understand why this happens.
I have also tried putting only the complianz-gdpr folder that is inside the zip file and in that case, if it detects that there is a plugin, but when activating it it gives me a lot of errors and it is deactivated and wordpress deletes it only from the plugins folder .
I have also tried to zip only the internal “complianz-gdpr ” folder and upload it as a plugin through the administration panel and the same thing happens, it installs it but when activating it, an error occurs.
Are you sure this file is correct?
Thank you so much for everything.
Hello good day.
Right now I have sent the url through the support form of https://complianz.io/support/
I hope you can see it.
Thank you!!
I would love to send you the url so you can see it, but I don’t want it to stay visible here and I’m investigating if I can delete it later, but it seems that it is not possible to edit the posts written in this forum.
How could I send it to you?
I did that. I removed all cookies and tried in other devices.
In different devecices detecta different cookies, but the Sync never is syncing all cookies.
Thanks!!
Hello, this can only be seen within the admin backend, so I don’t know how I can pass you the url.
I have uninstalled and installed the plugin several times and every time I did it, it synchronized some different cookies and not others. But once installed, no matter how much you press the synchronize button again, it always synchronizes the same cookies that chance has wanted you to touch on this installation occasion.
Now it has synchronized many from google and facebook but it does not synchronize cookies as basic as PHPSESSID or Complianz’s own.
Any ideas?

In reply to: [Pay for Payment for WooCommerce] Display de minimun amountThank you.
It would be great if you could fix it and implement this function in your plugin.
[link+info] was a placeholder I made up so that I could add a link for people who wanted more information. Then people click on the link and a “_blank” window opens with the detailed explanation of the payment method and calculation of the fee.
It was like this: “this method has an amount of 1.5% with a minimum of €1 click here for +info”
Thanks!!!
