Hi @lukefive,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Would you mind sharing your cloudname in order to see the request you opened through the Support ticketing system?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @lukefive,
While you decided to remove the Cloudinary plugin, you mentioned you had many problems with Cloudinary. As we are always looking to improve our services, we would like to understand the problems you faced. May I ask you to share the other issues you had on top of the array string issue?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @lukefive,
I am sorry to hear that.
We will be happy to assist you in case you decide to work with Cloudinary for future projects.
Best regards,
LoicHi @lukefive,
Our development team is currently investigating the issue and they would like to get more details on the issue. Would you mind answering the following questions:
- Is the sitemap that you mentioned generated by WP Sitemap Page, or Yoast?
- If it is WP Sitemap Page, in the edit page, can you try to switch to the Text view and browse that page’s contents and see if you have a video shortcode like this:
? If this assumption is right, can you please confirm you only see these warnings when saving the post and the page for the sitemap will not render?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @marcomc,
Thanks for reaching out.
Do you have an example URL where we can see the profile page broken and not broken? Do you have any logs also on your side? When looking at https://dev.moutilus.com/, I can see some images delivered through Cloudinary but I can see some blocks that do not have a background image.
Will you be willing to provide us with temporary access to a sandbox environment of your site where we can take a look and debug the issue here? If yes, could you please open a ticket to [email protected] to share those credentials.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @switchdan,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I will share this information with my team and we will discuss the possibility to integrate this.
I will get back to you if I have any updates to share.
Hope that makes sense.
Best,
LoicHi @switchdan,
Thanks for reaching out.
Can you confirm you would like to restrict access to the Cloudinary tab based on the pre-defined WordPress user roles?
If it is the case, this is not something supported but we can create a feature request in order to add this to our roadmap.
Looking forward to your update.
Best,
LoicHi @lukefive,
Thanks for sharing those details.
We have opened a ticket internally in order to fix this issue and we will get back to you as soon as we have some updates to share.
Hope that makes sense.
Best,
LoicHi @oolongm
Thanks for getting back to me.
Can you try the same scenario but after selecting the image in the Cloudinary tab, you click on the insert blue button?
Thanks for letting me know if that works for you.
Best,
LoicHi @oolongm,
Would you mind trying the following steps:
- Upload your PDF/txt to Cloudinary
- Go to a new post with Gutenberg (or classic, but my instructions will be Gutenberg specific)
- Add an Image Block
- Press the “Media Library” button in the block
- Navigate to the Cloudinary tab and select a file from these file types: pdf,txt
- Ensure the image shows up properly in the editor as well as the frontend
I have tested it with several PDFs and the files are properly synced with Cloudinary.
Looking forward to your response.
Best,
LoicHi @mintcanary,
I am closing this thread as this issue should be fixed with any version above v2.2.0.
Best,
LoicYou are welcome, and I am glad you managed to make it works.
Have a great day.
Best,
LoicThanks for getting back to me.
Usually, the Media Library used a cookie from the cloudinary.com website so when you are logged in via the website, you don’t need to log into the Media Library again.
Would you mind trying to clear your cookies on Chrome, log into the Management Console Login, and then try to access the Cloudinary tab inside the plugin?
If you inspect the page and check the console, do you have any errors logged?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicWould you mind letting us know what browser you are using on your desktop WP? We have a known issue with Safari that looks similar.
If it is the case, would you mind trying another browser and let us know if that works?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHope you are doing well.
We released multiple versions since 1.1.12, would you mind upgrading your plugin to the v2.4.0 and let me know if that works for you.
Please make sure to deactive or uninstall the plugin before upgrading as mentioned in our documentation.
Hope it helps.
Best,
Loic
