In reply to: [Custom Layouts - Post + Product grids made easy] Padding or marginThanks, that makes sense.
Yes, please add this to the documentation.
Especially for beginners, terms need clarification. Same goes for ‘radius’ (I already found out that means: making round corners)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Custom Layouts - Post + Product grids made easy] Paginationalso on my wishlist (but less important than the pagination): to be able to show (custom) fields next to eachother, and not only below eachother. If I want to add (for example) two taxonomy elements, I can only put them below eachother in my template, and not next to eachother.

In reply to: [Custom Layouts - Post + Product grids made easy] PaginationSomething else I miss, is to add an image element – not being the featured image

In reply to: [Custom Layouts - Post + Product grids made easy] PaginationOK, that’s indeed a pity, but hopefully soon available.
Hopefully you also create an option to adjust the labels then, so I can put them in my own language (in my case: ‘volgende’ instead of ‘next’).Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Secondary Title] computer hacked after installing this plugin!Which antivirus software are you using? I also have antivirus software installed (AVG free), but that did not block anything. Since this event happened, I don’t trust my computer anymore. I’m still afraid that the hacker left something behind. Of course I ran antivirus again and scanned the computer for malware (MalwareBytes), this didn’t result in anything. (no virus or malware found)
But I’m sure there’s something wrong with the developer’s website. So thank you for confirming my concern.

In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] How to add code to GeneratePress theme?Indeed, that’s really slight.. I didn’t notice it at first.
I wonder if this is just a font issue. On my keyboard there’s just a ” button,
which I use.But I’m going for the child theme option first. I’ll let you know if this works.
and a minor remark, mostly for myself, is that I think generatepress is written as one, and not like ‘generate_press’
but that’s easy testing using your code snippetForum: Plugins
In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] How to add code to GeneratePress theme?about the curly quotes…
actually, I see this in your documentation as well, in how do I display the subtitle in my themethe code I copied has single and double quotation marks

In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] Subtitle ‘block’ in backendNo. And now I understand what it is doing and where it comes from, and that helps a lot. Because first I thought maybe I made a mistake, or I needed to do something or so.
Understanding is part of the solution. And I totally understand that you prioritize paid work. It’s nice to ‘meet’ a plugin developer that is not a large company ?? Which makes me curious about your motivation to develop a plugin, but that is a completely different issue.

In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] Subtitle ‘block’ in backendOK, but I can’t do that. You already wrote that you’re doing that when you have time. So, I’m waiting for the update!

In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] How to add code to GeneratePress theme?in addition: where do you see clunky ‘ and ” ?
Maybe I’m looking over it, because I don’t see where I mistyped or miscopied…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] How to add code to GeneratePress theme?thank you for your answer. I’m not a developer and not experienced with PHP, so I need some help.
1) currently I don’t have a child theme. This is the only php I need to add.
I looked at the GeneratePress site and there I read:
“However, if all you’ll be doing is adding CSS or PHP, a child theme probably isn’t necessary. See our Adding CSS and Adding PHP articles.”2) I read about Adding PHP
They refer to the Code Snippets plugin.3) do you recommend to use the Code Snippets Plugin?
Code Snippets Pluginif so, what is the code snippet that I should add?
the one that you posted above?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [KIA Subtitle] Subtitle ‘block’ in backendI use the most recent WP version (WordPress 5.4.2)
I use the classic editor.Ad position 2 there is no possibility to add anything. It’s just there.
The only possibility (in classic editor) to add a subtitle is at position 1, but this part seems completely disconnect to position 2.But position 2 is connected to ‘screen options’ in the WP dashboard.
At screen options I can check/uncheck ‘subtitle’ and then position 2 appears/disappears.
But this has no effect on pos. 1
And pos. 2 appearing, is of no use, since it’s not possible to add anything there.see images:
long version (not collapsed!). Notice the difference with the Excerpt part, where I can actually add text.collapsed version:
