Automatic CRON job running.
I also have 99 posts in the trash that were not permanently deleted.
I would appreciate any help you can offer, Lars.
It worked!
Thank you for your quick reply and solution to my problem, Lars!
I have a few bespoke plugins that are required for my site to function as it does.
Unfortunately, no newer alternative is available, hence my out of date PHP.
I realize at some point soon, I’ll have to bite the bullet and figure something out.
I appreciate your help!
Good day

In reply to: [Delete Duplicate Posts] Updates Broke My SiteI did.
Both 4.6 and 4.6.1 produced the same problem.

In reply to: [Delete Duplicate Posts] Fatal ErrorVersion 4.4.2 seems to have fixed the problem.

In reply to: [Delete Duplicate Posts] Fatal ErrorHere was my error message:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, first array member is not a valid class name or object in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 289
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/delete-duplicate-posts/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 22855
Your plugin is the only one available that did what I needed. I hope you are able to fix your plugin, soon.

In reply to: [Delete Duplicate Posts] Fatal ErrorThank you for your reply.
I just installed the latest version, 4.4, and received this error message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/conserva/public_html/wp-content/plugins/delete-duplicate-posts/delete-duplicate-posts.php on line 581
Why is this happening?

In reply to: [Delete Duplicate Posts] Errors on log when updating optionsI just encountered the same error. The problem is NOT solved with version v 4.1.9.3. I am running WordPress 4.9.1.
Please address this issue, quickly.
*** I deleted the plugin and then re-uploaded and reinstalled it and that seems to have solved the problem.

I don’t understand it, either. However, it’s working and I don’t have time to monkey around with it.
Perhaps, a solution will present itself over time.
I upgraded a few days ago. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I also used the new button you added, with no luck. I did not find ald_tptn_settings in the wp_options table.
The css I had was fairly simple. I’ll figure it out this week.
The plugin still will not let me uncheck every option. I’ve got it narrowed down to one: Display number of views on: ‘Other archives’ and Track user groups: ‘Editors’
Perhaps, you will be able to correct the issue in the next release.
One thing of note. I had a little bit of custom css aligning the text after the thumbnails that was lost after upgrading. I have ‘Display thumbnails inline with posts, before title selected’ and ‘Left Thumbnails’ as the styling.
As it is now, the text is slightly above the top border of the images in my top 10 list. I previously had it even with the top border and it looked better.
It would have been nice to have been able to keep my modifications. Now, I have take time out of my day to monkey around with it (I’m not a programmer).
Cheers
Sounds good.
Hopefully, your efforts will solve this issue.
The most important thing I wanted corrected was not displaying page views on posts.
This time, I only unchecked ‘posts’ and left the others checked on the counter/tracker tab and it worked!
Display number of views on:
Posts
Pages
Home page
Feeds
Category archives
Tag archives
Other archivesThen, I unchecked the others one at a time and saved each time I did so. Apparently, unchecking multiple boxes and saving it would cause the plugin to not save anything.
One thing to mention, Display number of views on: ‘Other archives’ AND ‘Track user groups: Authors’ MUST remain checked, otherwise everything that was unchecked will be checked once again after saving.
Hopefully, this will help other users of the plugin.
Not sure if I should mark as resolved, because it’s ‘kind of’ resolved.

In reply to: [Top 10 - WordPress Popular posts by WebberZone] Saving options not possibleNo, it is NOT resolved.
I have tried all of the suggestions listed above and NONE of them worked.
I uninstalled it and re-uploaded 2.5.3. I tried 0 days and 23 hours, and then 1 day and 23 hours, performed both ‘solutions’ in Firefox 57 and chrome.I would like to keep using this plugin, but I will delete it if a verifiable solution is not provided.

In reply to: [Top 10 - WordPress Popular posts by WebberZone] Saving options not possibleResetting the plugin settings did not solve the problem, nor did deactivating and reactivating. No place to include a pic here.
Display number of views on:
x Posts
x Pages
x Home page
x Feeds
x Category archives
x Tag archives
x Other archivesI want ALL of these options UN-checked. Each time I save, all of them are checked again.
I’ll try deleting and re-installing when I get a chance, probably Wednesday.
