In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Can’t change column widthPerfect. If you would like to see the tables I made with your plugin, the link in my first post will show you. I think they look great. The color scheme even fits perfectly. I donated to you. Thanks a lot.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] Links don’t workLOL. Oh, Really? Is this not a forum for Ultimate Social Media? The FAQ on the first page is entitled “Please read the FAQ before posting at https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq”. Sounds like I’m in the Ultimate Social Media forum.
You’re right the icons are in a widget in the sidebar. That’s what it says to do in the instructions that came with the “Social Media and Share Icons (Ultimate Social Media)” plugin. At the top of the plugin’s FAQ it says “Ultimately Social”. Here’s the link to load the FAQ: https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq/?utm_source=usmi_settings_page&utm_campaign=top_introduction&utm_medium=banner
Below the 4 drop-down menus is a link: USM. I would guess that stands for Ultimate Social Media. Clicking USM took me here. If the icons I have are not from your plugin then someone is using the same plugin name as you and a link in their FAQ sends people to your forum. If I were you I would be doing something about that. So is that your explanation or am I at the right place and you don’t recognize your icons?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] Links don’t workThey’re on the url I posted. I clicked the link to confirm it works. Did you scroll down? I logged out as the admin and I still see it.

I was only seeing the comment box. Clearing the cache fixed it. Thanks.

In reply to: [Virtue] How do I change font size and color of sub-items?I don’t understand how you could login there. There is no working login link there. If there was I wouldn’t have had to go through all this. I brought up the default login page by putting /wp-admin at the end of the domain. Then I made custom links.

In reply to: [Virtue] How do I change font size and color of sub-items?I have my answer. I was asking for help in another forum too and someone told me how to load the login screen. This is what I was referring to. I didn’t know how to load it and my host’s tech support wouldn’t tell me. I then made custom links for login, register and reset password and put them in my footer menu and everything works. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Virtue] How do I change font size and color of sub-items?You registered on my site? That was a neat trick since my site has no registration or login links right now. I just loaded the site to see if tech support has done anything to it. There are no registration, login or lost password links right now. What did you click on? I’ll add login and register links as soon as I figure out how to set it up the way my host wants. The registration window that came up for you isn’t coming from my site. I think you used the login window my host is talking about but how do I bring it up?

In reply to: [Virtue] How do I change font size and color of sub-items?Tech support is a problem but it sounds like the owner is going to be helpful. My site has forums. That’s what people log in for. The login window looks a lot like the one I get when I come to this site except there isn’t anything next to the big capital “W”. Apparently you don’t need plugins or short-code to load this. I think it’s something simple but I don’t know how to do it.

In reply to: [Virtue] How do I change font size and color of sub-items?I’ve made some progress. This is an issue with my host. Tech support finally figured out what’s going on; they should have known all along. They said “we don’t allow membership plugins on the website. Users can register to your website using Register option at wp-admin URL”. They’re lousy at explanations and I sent a complaint to the owner. I’m new to this but it sounds like tech support is saying that they don’t allow login, lost password and register pages with short-code like [bbp-login] because that runs code in the plugin and they don’t allow that for some reason. Those plugins are “membership plugins”. Does that sound right? They’re telling me I’m using bbpress to log in visitors and I’m not allowed to do that. I don’t know why they don’t allow it. Maybe I’ll get an explanation later.
Do you understand the message they sent me because I don’t? What is “WP-Admin URL”? I found a plugin called “HC Custom WP-Admin URL”. All it does it let you rename the login page so I don’t know if that’s what they’re talking about. I installed it, tried to figure it out and messed things up so my dashboard wouldn’t load. They had to disable it to get my dashboard back. They also sent me a pic with the message about WP-Admin URL. It’s a small login window. There’s 2 text boxes. The first one is “Username or email address” and the second one is Password. Above the small window is a big white capital “W” in a blue circle. Below the window is “Register” and “Lost Password”. Isn’t this the default WordPress login window? So this is what my host wants me to use but they won’t tell me how to set it up. They won’t tell me how to load the login window. Do you know how?
