However, disabling it has no effect. The WordPress ‘Add featured image’ remains broken.

I don’t think I have any other plugins that pull up media library overlays but I am happy to investigate anything else that you might suggest.

The latter I’m afraid ?? The silly old duffer forgot to attach it.
