does it work fine? on the w.bloggar webpage, they said you needed to use the old xml-rpc file, since the latest one changed something.

I’m having the same problem.. I’m not sure where to look to find out what might be wrong.
If I go to edit the post, the sticky flag is gone. If i check it, and save, it’s there… but goes away as soon as I leave to another page.

yes, that backs up and restores…. but will it still work if you’re moving to a different domain (and a different dB name). Not only that.. but is it better to install fresh and then edit files (and what files..) or just copy it all over and edit the settings acordingly…

I’m about to do the same… if anyone has any tips on how to get it going… that’d be great. For instance.. the database names are going to be different… so how is that going to work?
should we install wp on the new server/domain and then just import data and copy setting files over?

hey, this is exactly what I wanted to do a while back…i just don’t have a clue on how to start coding for it (nor am I a programmer…)

I did it w/ a custom setting.. using blogger api and metaweblog api. Using blogger, it will post fine, but only to the default category, reglardless of what category i chose.
w/ the metaweblog api, i can post a draft, and then publish it using the web login, but i cannot publish from w/o wbloggar.
setting it to MT gives the same symptoms as using metaweblog api.

filezilla here, but its starting to get on my nerves.. i have things in my documents, and it’s a pain to have to dig through the directories everytime. and you can’t seem to clear the quickconnect list.
smartftp is nice, but big, and annoying in the nag department. if it were $10 cheaper, i might consider buying it.

that itunes plugin is great… now only if there was something on the windows end for it… and yes, what is may 1st reboot?

heh, out of curiousity, how did you figure the calories for typing a keystroke.. that seems awfully high :p

bingo, you’re right. that’s rather disappointing, thats probably the most common extention out there. drats.
