Ok, I just discovered that it wasn’t the Better Internal Link Search that broke the functionality, it was actually the ACF field plugin. Sorry about that.

I don’t want to contradict you, but I do have more than 100 sites using Relevanssi on a multisite network and they do create the tables correctly.

I think that behaving properly on a multisite site install, and by this I mean creating the tables correctly, should be standard, not a premium feature. That’s just being a good WordPress citizen. But I do respect your view on it, despite fundamentally disagreeing.

Also, I dont need the extra functionality provided by the premium version. I just need the tables to be created as it is supposed to happen for any plugin when individually installed on a single or multiple sites in a network. What I mean by this is that Im not running “Network Activate” the plugin, I go to each site individually and activate it there.

I’ve been using the free version on multisite form more than a year without an issue, and it does on that install create the tables correctly. Hopefully this hasn’t changed in newer versions of the plugin.

Don’t mean to defer the need for your to monetise your efforts, just stating what I have observed and the apparent inconsistency.

I’ve found in the meantime that the plugin, although being activated on each site individually in the network it is creating the tables without the site prefix.

The weird thing about it is that on the other network, the tables are correctly created, with the site ID prefix necessary on multisite installs.

Having the same issue, although the chartset change didn’t made any difference to me.
Running the plugin on a multisite. I have a different multisite network with 100+ websites were the plugins does run normally.

Will post here if I find the cause.

I dont think you will be able to find a direct answer to your question without testing them by yourself. As you say, your building something for your own needs, and that most likely poses unique challenges. Nothing like give a try to the available options.

As for me, I still stand by Kirki, it suits my needs quite well.

Oh, that’s weird, I just assumed it was because of the multisite environment.
I was just changing and creating regular posts, nothing fancy. Im not seeing any weirdness in the logs either. Anything I can look for to help find the cause?
