I’ve just got this too so very interested in response.

Might it be the theme? I’m in Hestia? I’ve changed it to another theme, just to see whether it worked and now I can see them and it was very straightforward and I can see them fine.

Yes I did try placing floating icons, but they were sitting over the top menu.
The website is https://www.latimersascot.org.
I’ve taken them all down because I thought I might have got a conflicting command. I’ll put them back up.
I used a widget in the end to do it.
Also, I tried to resize the icons down to 25, the programme accepted 25 pixels size but the buttons didn’t actually change size.
Any help is welcome!
