Hello, it’s me again. There was an error with the back end of the staging site and I had to revert back to the original page and lose the staging site information, so now I am back to square 1. This time I’ve just created a duplicate home page and am working on that. This is what it currently looks like.

So you can see that below the title section, which I haven’t changed yet, I’ve got that white box with no text in and I can’t get rid of it. For me, it looks like I have changed all settings to full width. I would appreciate your help in locating exactly where I should change this as I am concerned that there is something on my site that is preventing me from seeing the data as you’ve laid out above.

Thanks Alvind, i have actually disabled the title. What i am left with is the box that the title and that the header sat in and I need to remove those

Hi, I have disabled the title, if that means it no longer appears on the page. However when I did that (a while ago) I had to use some custom CSS. So at the moment the page title is not visible and I have a white space that is now full width across the home page (in the staging site). I am still stuck as to how to get rid of the space itself. The instructions given above seem clear but they don’t seem to correspond with what I see on my dashboard. I wonder if I might be missing something.
Could a plugin be preventing me from seeing any editing options?
I am using Spectra as a page builder, could that be preventing me from seeing GP editing options?

ok great.

I’ve done the first bit so the page is full width and the rectangle is now all the way across the page.

However for the second section, I don’t have: appearance – elements and/or can’t find how to access the editor.

Are you able to guide me on that?

Thank you. I don’t want to change the colour though I want to remove the space so that the first block is higher up the page. Can I do that?

I’ve received another one this morning.
I went back to siteground, who host my website. They have a site scanner in partnership with sucuri, it’s ￡18.72 for the year. I’m going to do that.
My fake orders were also on product added last.
I’m wondering whether to take the product off and reload it. Also wondering whether to disinstall woocommerce and reinstall.

Not sure what to do aside from that. What are you all doing? Use the plugin to block them?
How do they gain access to the website simply from placing an order?
On a lighter note, am slightly gutted as they ordered a product I had only just launched! I thought it was my first order #dontcrackopenthechampagneyet
