In reply to: [Sell Media] Genesis Framework & Child ThemeThanx for the info guys but I am an experienced WP user and well aware of how to install, backup etc. The reason I asked, is I don’t want to go thru the hassle of installing etc if there are KNOWN conflicts with Genesis. It is always wise to ask or do research BEFORE installing anything. Thanx anyway.
Great… =}
Thanx!
Thanx again… one more question… will the ability to style and position the sliders individually be incorporated into future plugin updates, namely the developer version? This is a feature I would not only like but need…
Thanx again for all your help… will rate also… =}
That did the trick… Thanx… my only concern tho is if I want to position another slider in a post or page in a different spot… ie. center or right… will that be a problem?
Where do I sent the screenshots? If you just resize the browser you will see what I mean… it only shows the left half of the picture at smaller sizes… the slider doesn’t size down and keeps the original graphic dimensions… whereas before it sized down when I first installed the plugin and tested it… that’s why I decided to go with your plugin… if I use the Genesis Responsive Slider everything works properly it’s just that I don’t want to link to pages or posts… I just want to show images.
I’m using FF…
Could you give me an example code and what to change? Coding is not my forte… ??
Thanx
Thanx for the quick reply… I found it hard to believe that such a popular plugin would remain insecure… but I did need to check…
Thanx

In reply to: [Editorial Calendar] Editorial Calendar 1.4 ErrorsThanx for the quick response… I checked the server to verify that it was using PHP 5 and lo and behold… they had set it back to PHP 4! I had updated that ages ago so they must have done some kind of maintenance and the settings got changed. Weird.
Anyway, I switched it to 5 again and tried updating the plugin and it worked perfectly! I’m so glad cause I really love this plugin and put it on every WP site I or my clients use!
Thanx again! Problem Solved.
Happy Dance! =}

In reply to: WP3.0 Media Uploader “Unable to create directory”Check the information in the “Store uploads in this folder” blank, and verify that it is pointing to the correct directory.
I am not even getting this option and can’t upload images… there’s no box for me to even “tick”
Unable to create directory /home/www/mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I’m on hostgator. Should I move?

In reply to: Mature SettingI’ve been installing WP 3.0 on two different hosting providers and testing, moving etc and I have to say Hostgator was the easiest, with the least if any problems and if you do need support they are great and available immediately thru chat… I’m not familiar with the other two you mentioned so I can’t offer comments.
@gabeyoung… count your blessings with GoDaddy… I wouldn’t use them under any circumstances… have yet to hear a good thing about their hosting (‘cept for you)… just nightmare stories from many, many, many users… professional and newbies… Count your blessings!
