Thank you for reporting this issue – We have had another report with this issue. We have updated our API and I have just checked the response includes the fix for the aforementioned typo.

If there are issues with the detection, please try to deactivate the vulnerability module, save settings and then turn it back on. This will retrigger the scan. The list of vulnerabilities and details are downloaded from our API and updated daily.

We use the publicly released vulnerabilities released by the National Vulnerability Database. This one sounds like it is referred to as CVE-2023-6990.

We have just checked and if you have installed version 6.4.0, the warning should not show up again. Has the message disappeared?

The discrepancy you’ve noticed, where the number of scanned files is smaller than the number of directories, can occur for a few reasons.

Not all directories contain files that are scanned by Security Ninja and some directories may be empty or contain files that are not included in the scan due to their type or permissions settings.

Hello – I have also pushed out a new version that will warn and check – I could still be facing a bug, but I have not been able to reproduce it sorry.

We added a new release today (two in fact) that should fix these issues. Yes, you can add a plugin to handle the 404 errors – there is more info inside the plugin about that also. Stay safe and take care.
