Does News Time 1.1 work on WordPress 2?

I had installed News Time 1.0, but didn’t use it precisely because I need a wide box for my lead article.

Then I downloaded 1.1 and sent it to the theme folder, but it never appeared on my presentation page.

I find the help in wordpress really rotten. I also cannot find the API key. Seems to me that when you sign up you ought to be sent it. I feel like I’m forced into playing a party game. Go here, then go there, etc, etc. If you require a password, just send it to people.
