I’m using the Business Finder theme and essentially would like to run a poll on if that business is the users’ favorite…
ideally, On each business (known as items in the theme which were uploaded through CSV file) – there would be a poll with the one question- ‘Vote for your favorite business’ and one answer ‘Vote’ – that vote would then get registered against the business page currently being displayed.
However, due to how these items are uploaded, I can’t see how in the php file for the theme I would get the Shortcode to become associated with that particular item… (And I appreciate you won’t necessarily know how this theme works)
So,
The other option would be to have all of the businesses listed as answers to one question ‘Which is your favorite business’, but as there are close to 200 businesses the poll box would be huge. I was wondering if there would be away to hide all of the answers (until someone clicks onto the box to vote) or if it was possible to have a button within the poll (so the vote button) but clicking on this redirects you to another page which would have all of the answers listed.
Or maybe you know of a way that this could work better for what I need?
