  • Thanks for your response, Steve. If you get any flashes of brilliance, don’t hesitate to let me know.

Yikes, Steve. Again, thanks for your help.

While the % & is gone and the start date shows, the end dates for my events are gone! That’s not good.

I’ve checked: Show the end date even if its the same as the start date”.

Any other ideas of what I should try?

I’m not sure how I did it, but I followed your instructions and it worked!!! Thank you.

Steve@316. I’m having the same issue (Odd %& numbers showing where date used to show). I don’t know how to go and change the Date Format, update or change some settings. Can you please advise? Thanks.

    Hi Rahul:

Haven’t heard from you in awhile. Did you get my email? Thanks,

    Hi Rahul:

This didn’t seem to work. However, to make certain that I understood what you asked me to do, here’s how I tired to make the changes.
Under Slider Basic Settings Miscellaneous, I added =&gt:
Oddly, every time that I tried to save the changes, the box beside Miscellaneous automatically changed into what looks like a right facing arrow. On my website and in the post, everywhere that I inserted =&gt: became <p> and still was not centered.

Please let me know if the problem is with my attempts to follow the instructions. Still learning a lot here! Thanks,

    Best regards,

    Liz

    Hi Rahul:

I made the changes that you suggested (I’m learning a lot here – thanks!); however, I still can not “play” with the text the way I want.

Oddly enough, the text appears exactly the way that I want when I view the Post, but when I click Preview or go to my website, everything that I set up has been overruled.

Currently what I see is as follows: Medium: Etching, aquatint Dimensions: 22 x 30 inches. This is part of my Lower Don River series.

What I would like to see is the following (all centred under the image):

Medium: Etching, aquatint on one line
Dimensions: 22 x 30 inches on the next line then
This is part of my Lower Don River series. on another line.

Reducing the number of characters or width doesn’t appear to be the answer, as some of my lines are wider than the image and it just makes all the text very wide. When people look at my website, I want them to see lines with a few characters and lines with many characters all centred under the image. I don’t mind taking the time to set up each line and centre it, which is what I have done in the Post, but doesn’t show online the way I want it to.

I want to be able to centre the text underneath the image (with the ability to “play” with space around the text) and overrule the default that keeps the text together on one line and then drops the remaining text down on to the next line.

    Thanks so much, Rahul.

    Best Regards,

    Liz

    Hi Rahul:

Yes! Thanks for your help. It’s much better and your suggestion was helpful; however, it didn’t completely solve my problem. I want the text to be centred under the image on the smooth slider. In the backend, it looks exactly the way I want, but when I see the post on the smooth slider page on my website, it is not centred the way I set it up. Any suggestions? Thank you.
