as stated on my update above I had to roll back the new version of WordPress to get Yoast breadcrumbs to work. Obviously the newest version of WordPress is not playing nice with Yoast 5.5.1 WP is the latest.

I rolled back to to the previous version of WP and Yoast working again I also use total theme since this is a production server and production site everything is always updated immediately including the theme

Just still waiting for you guys to get it together. If the next version is still not proper our agency will have to migrate all our customers off of Yoast and on to something else we selected all at our expense and 3 weeks to do the job for over 500 clients..

Doesn’t make me happy

You have to be careful you need to go into myphp admin and just delete the Yoast table. Or you can download a database optimize plugin that removes all orphaned entries that belong to plugins that no longer live on your site

I’m about to give up on this plugin I think I’ve been using it since 2014 for all our clients. If it’s still not 100% By the next update we have made plans to migrate all our clients to another SEO plugin. Unfortunately, it’s going to come at our expense and time. This is why we have been holding off and not upgrading the clients any longer and rolled back to 13.5 for everyone. The new updates we have been testing on our dev server since we can not trust this module to just install blindly any longer on our production sites.

I added the shortcode long before Guttenberg as a matter of fact we don’t use Guttenberg here. We don’t use any Visual Mode for that matter. We use text.

I use Total Theme mine does the same thing as yours. I will give this a try..

I also have same problem, I rolled back to 13.5 you can do this too for time being until they get this buggy major release fixed using Search Results
Web results WP Rollback.. There are a lot more problems than just the breadcrumbs

dont delete your shop page you will destroy your woocommerce structure. the shop page is supposed to be nonindex but dofollow

I just gave up and restored yesterday’s backup. This plugin has gotten really bad lately not good for a production site. I’m using Total theme

Don’t do it I had to restore from yesterdays backup

I think I might need to contact AJ the developer of the theme and see if its something on his end I have also been debating the premium version of the software

I did find an option of what you speak of in the Total Theme customize options. Toggling on or off the show blog page in the breadcrumbs option did not do anything. Might be a Total theme bug? See screenshot.
