In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)I resolved it. I actually called GD back for a different reason and the agent looked into it.
The htaccess file was preventing it from showing up properly so he renamed the file with disabled at the end: /public_html/wp-content/uploads/.htaccess.disabled
And now it works. Thanks for sticking with me on the issue. I appreciate the help.

In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)Linux – I only chose that one because I figured Windows went with a PC. I’m working off of a Mac.

In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)I deleted it from my c-panel and reinstalled it through the GoDaddy WordPress set-up. Same result. Is there something else I should be doing (i.e. on the www.remarpro.com end)?

In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)Yes, brand new installation.
I deactivated and retried with the 2013 theme, but got the same result. I’ve tried a few different images, but most recently a 600X400 and a 1224X1632. Oddly, when I’m in the media bay and I click on Edit Image, the image appears, but after I click update it reverts back to nothingness.

In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)Spoke with GoDaddy – the agent confirmed that the file permissions are correct and the anti-hotlinking is disabled. Is there something in my site’s code that may need adjustment? The same picture file uploaded to a separate site I have with wordpress.com uploads no problem.

In reply to: Media Upload Issue (Blue Question Mark)I checked on my site – the permissions for the parent file wp-content/uploads is set to 0755, but when I dig down to the jpg file its permission is set to 0644.
Also, when I double click on the picture file on my c-panel, the picture opens up no problem.
I searched around for hot linking, but didn’t see any mention of it.
Any thoughts?

In reply to: E-Commerce ImplementationAwesome – thank you for the help and clarification. I know I’m veering into a different forum topic so this will be my last q on the matter:
If I’m understanding correctly I would need to transfer the live432.com registrar to GoDaddy for example, set up self hosting on GoDaddy, have the live432.com site up and running, then move my live432.wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com through export/import, connect live432.com to www.remarpro.com, and finally install the e-commerce plugin?

In reply to: Uploaded PDF/Hyperlink IssueThey don’t actually – I just opened the pdf from my desktop in Safari and the links open in the same page. So it looks like the new page functionality gets lost in the html –>pdf conversion. I guess that’s more a question for Adobe than WordPress.
Apologies – I didn’t think to open the pdf in Safari before I posted. Unless you have any suggestions, I’ll resolve the post.
