but this did not work. I am still searching the various css for the theme and plugin to see if this change will work. It seems like the writers for UM intentionally made this type of change difficult.

Thanks. Forgive my ignorance, but are you referencing the admin panel on the back end of the WP site, or the admin panel for the web host (server)? I’m using the sungit lite theme, which has a bunch of css files in the assets folder. I am not seeing a file called custom css, in any case.

I am having the same problem with all of the frustrations described above.. I did add the snippet above in the um-styles.css file with the color #000000 (because I wanted it black), but there has been no change in the User Description.

Am I missing something?

Thank you for clarifying. If we forget about the private messages function and add-on for a moment: None of the other shortcodes (aside from the forms) will function on my suite. Here are others that don’t work:

Could you show me an example of some sort. In any case, the Affiliate links do not take users to the Registration page, and there are bits of coding appearing on the page.

OK. So I put the code: [affiliates_url]https://deafusa.org/affiliate-area/[/affiliates_url] in this page: https://deafusa.org/affiliate-area/

Now, when someone pastes ANY Affiliate code into the address bar of the browser, it still takes them to the Home Page of the site. If they click on the link to the Affiliate Page, the Affiliate code appears at the top of the page, which doesn’t look good at all.

How do I get the Affiliate link codes to take prospects to the Affiliate Area page so they can sign up under whomever referred them?

Lastly, where do I insert the appended URL?

When a person registers as an Affiliate, the system generates a set of links for them to distribute to prospects so they can get credit for those visits.

The links being generated by the system do not take the new referees to the Signup area. Instead, they are taken to the site’s Home Page. Why is this, and how do we remedy the situation?

The site is located at https://cloud-empowerment.com All of the visible pages display the errors. Additionally, if you google either of the error messages, you’ll come up with literally dozens of sites using this theme that are having the same problem.
