Dear Dan, My name is Kevin, CEO of LitCommerce. I would like to reach out for the issue that happened on our tool earlier on 8 May, 2023. On behalf of our whole LitCommerce team, I firstly would like to apologize for all the inconveniences it caused. The incident on our tool was a result of human error, that happened on your account, unfortunately. It was detected by our team immediately. Multiple actions were taken within just one minute. Business data is top secret. We are aware that this is a small mistake but caused big consequences, and we can completely understand your concerns and feelings by far. The incident is related to the cache on our server and only happens to data reflecting on our system. We froze every action on the system immediately to prevent any further damage to you, or any other users. As you might see, even though the wrong session was still on your screen by that time, your account was closed immediately and the session disappeared right after you reloaded the page. Please note that your website is safe. Currently, we have checked to make sure that it did not cause any damage to any user account data, and assure that the issue will not happen again in the future. We always want everything to be as perfect as It could. But you know, sometimes you make mistake. Our system is now working CORRECTLY as it should and is CONFIRMED to not having this issue again upto today (18 September 2023 ). We also make sure this won't happen anytime in ther future. Finally, thank you for your understanding by far. As a gesture of goodwill, we did set 3 month Starter plan with full features on your account immediately, and willing to upgrade to any plan if you have more products, without charging any fee. I hope that you can give us the second chance to help you experience the tool. We remain committed to our customers and your satisfaction. We would like to do everything we can to make this right for you and are always willing to give the best service. And more importantly, we do wish to win you back. We’ve looked into your case and found that the reason why your data was deleted is because you chose “Clear current data on Target Store” option. When this option is selected, we always display a warning message saying that all current selected entities will be cleared on your Target store. Maybe the message made you confused, we will work on it so that the explanation can be clearer.
To support you better in fixing the issue, our support agents and migration experts have already reached out to you. We hope that this problem will be solved as satisfactorily as possible.
