Socialize, & Mobile Pack
Theme Suffusion.
The “warning” only shows up under the “suffusion options” within the dashboard.
There is an option to cache suffusion’s options, which I have done but no caching software.
I’ve deactivated all plugins w/ no change. who knows! lol

what do you mean? thumbnails are the cropped full image. Need more detail as to what you are experiencing….

After some investigation on the issue, it appears that the permissions were changed due to a bug in the wordpress plugin. I was able to find many reports through the wordpress community that the plugin causes issues with permissions when uploading pictures.

it’s not the plugin, it’s either the new version of wordpress or my hosting company, I’m getting the exact same errors with every website I trial try, whichever plugin version I use. KEEP THE FAITH!

I completely deleted the plugin reinstalled the earlier version 1.3 and it’s not working at all. SO I’m thinking it’s not the plugin, it’s something else. Sooooo sorry to have been all “yer fault” lol. Man this sux…..
it’s only when I try UPLOADING, it uploads the image, and i get a blank thumbnail gif and blank photo.grrr

yep, gonna not assume it’s the plugin, will uninstall and just upload the previous version. Fingers crossed.

Guess I’ll just uninstall and reload the older version.

There is an issue with NGG 1.7.4 running on WP 3.1 I’m totally in agreement, but I am terrified to downgrade.

disabled all plugins except nextgen, contact my shared webhoster for permission issues but I really don’tthink thats it, plugin checker test positive for all, uploaded the photos to the media folder just fine.
just in case I’m asked the same routine of Questions…about “what have you done to try and solve this” I see that alot of people are having trouble and saying it’s not compatible. HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if we have to go there then someone should say so. I’m having major compatibly issues..FAIL.
and the plugin”check” is saying it’s fine. something’s wrong with the upload functionality.
