Version 2.2.1 of Twitter Tools actually fixes the digest post bug on my installation. Thanks to all who looked into that issue, and to the plug-in author who issued the code. (Were it not for him, we wouldn’t be here! ;-))

Nope, still no joy with digest updates after installing the last version of Twitter Tools (v.2.2).

Aside:
Since v.2.1, I’ve noticed that when you click on the “Reset Digests” button on the Twitter Tools options page, you land — a bit confusingly — on the WordPress general options page and there’s no confirmation from Twitter Tools wether you’ve actually done something.

I suppose this issue pertains to this discussion “Twitter Tools not updating”.

If you don’t like MaxBlogPress’s offering, there are other plugins to customize the number of posts per page:
– Custom Post Limits (but it doesn’t deal with the sorting order of posts);
– Custom Query String Reloaded (already mentioned in this thread; works well for many, but not so well for me).

I installed Flash Player 10, and then came across the blank-uploader-window bug, so I searched for it and read that Flash 10 was incompatible with the WordPress Flash uploader — well, it’s clearly not a general incompatibility, since Flash 10 and the Flash uploader are getting along fine on my computer, after I have disabled Custom Field Template.

If you have the time, deactivate your plugins and reactivate them one at a time, like I did, to test the Flash uploader.

Uploader window blank and “frozen” when clicking Insert to Post

I deactivated all plugins on my site, opened a new article, inserted an image using the uploader, then activated the first plugin on the list, inserted an image, then activated the next plugin on the list, and so on…

The uploader window stopped working (got blank and frozen) after activating the Custom Field Template plugin (version 0.4.4). Three attemps: bug confirmed (on my installation, at least).

No other plugin tested today triggered this bug (but I have lots of plugin and have not tested them all yet).

Go to …/wp-admin/edit.php?page=search-unleashed.php&sub=options
and check the box about the kittens’ protection, then save the search-unleashed options.

I agree with JLCarneiro.

When you set up a site organization, you try a lot of different things.

And as order by date is currently, unfortunately, the quasi inflexible sorting method in WordPress…

“AStickyPostOrderer” and “Category Visibility iPeat Rev” don’t play well together — you get the “sorry, no post matched your criteria” message on the homepage.

If you want to order posts according to their categories, I suggest “My Category Order”.

If you want to order only some posts individually and “manually”, why not change the date time a bit?

If you have a lot of posts that you’d want sorted in a specific order, “AZIndex” allows you to display lists of posts sorted by title, description, category, or any custom field of your chosing, alphabetically and even numerically, thanks to the numeric_compare function.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work with my configuration and existing site organization, but many other people will undoubtedly put it to great use.

The issue is not resolved.

When Category Visibility and Post Groups are both activated on my site, the home page is no longer empty, but only the one post that is set as “sticky” is displayed.

When the option to not show the “Ungrouped posts” group is activated, the home page is totally empty again.

So using Post Groups along with regular Categories is a bit problematic, especially when one doesn’t want to display the Ungrouped group (i.e. the posts that belong to a category but not to a post group)

Had to stay with HidePost, which can only display one message (always the same — it can be set in the plugin’s option page) for non-registered users.

I’d have liked to use the flexibility a plugin like WP NonRegContent could offer.
