I found another site (mentioned in another post in this support forum) which is demonstrating the same issue. See this page: https://toolbox-4-websites.com/about/ When I view the page in Firefox, the page icon next to the About title displays. When I view it in Chrome, just a gray box appears.

I’m on version 27.0.1453.94 m of Chrome, version 2.1.2 of the theme.

It’s already resolved. Per Marventus’ suggestion, I simply deleted and re-installed the plugin. Is okay now.

Alrighty — peace. One last thing: I’ve taken on board your initial response and tried to “make amends”. I would appreciate it if you would consider modifying your initial response, too. Yes, I have doled out negative reviews for other plugins. If you look at the ones you mention, those reviews were fully justified, and I was far from alone in making those comments. Thanks.

As noted in my comment on the support forum, I do appreciate your quick response. Apologies for not “following protocol”, but I was a bit shocked when I noticed the menu had disappeared, and it took me a fair amount of time to track down the source of the problem. If there was a way to upgrade my original rating, I would do that. But I don’t see a way to do that, so I’ll try posting another review.

Thanks for the quick response. This did seem to work, but makes me a bit nervous about using the plugin. This kind of behavior obviously doesn’t instill confidence. Not sure if I’ll continue to use the plugin or now, but I’ll upgrade my review to reflect your responsiveness.

After installing the latest version (1.15), the custom CSS fix that Jason had provided (see above) no longer works — at certain browser widths the text in the main container is again bleeding over into the sidebar. Try it here.

Thanks for the response. fyi, I also logged this in the ThemeKraft support forum (Request #3526). Jason provided a temporary workaround that prevents the bleed over.

Add the following code to the CSS tab in Appearance => Theme Options:

As noted in the ThemeKraft request, I noticed some other issues with the responsive feature, which hopefully will be addressed at the same time this one is.

I am a mere mortal and do not understand — or ever have had to deal with — enabling or disablying https for the admin interface. So, aerobrent, how exactly does one toggle this? And what is the effect (or tradeoffs) of doing so???

another option that looks pretty good: Online Backup for WordPress plugin. They recently came out with a new release. I’m kickin’ the tires now and I like what I see.

What I’m wondering is: where is the AUTHOR of this plugin??? Is he not reading the comment threads? If not, why not? If so, why no response of any kind??? If for no other reason I wouldn’t use this thing anymore due to lack of attention being paid. Either he doesn’t have the time or the interest to respond to feedback. Too bad. The previous version was great — and actually worked.

A follow up to this….this thing broke my site temporarily. I’ll spare the details, but both the front end and the dashboard got completely hung. Finally was able to login again, and went to deactivate and delete the plugin. More hangs, incl. one DB connection error. Finally got the thing deactivated and deleted, and the site is okay again. I won’t be coming back to this again, at least until I see a TON of “it works” votes.
