I think about it. Need to rust of my old php skills. Maybe you have right. I did not saw many links surounded by a <> lately.

Actually, I believe I would need only to strip of the last character as I think that the first character is being already ignored.

Tthanks for the quick reply.

Well, I’m using links like https://www.abc1abc.com in a newsletter. Many of them. In the older days of the Internet ?? it was recommend to separate these links from a text and put them between separators, such as <>. I kept that habit. Not sure anyone does so still, though.

Therefore, the source text, unmodified and presented for make_clickable(), would look like <https://www.abc1abc.com> .

I want of course only to get the real link processed, say, https://www.abc1abc.com , yet finally displayed with a surrounding <> such as <https://www.abc1abc.com> .

Any way to do so? Or is it better to drop the <> entirely? From a technical point of view, of course it is easier to let go the <>

What do you think? For me, I do like to use the separators. I never had problems with links made out of them, say in PDF documents. It is just that make_clickable() don’t accept them this way.

Hi Kevin. Thanks again for the reply. Yes, I do believe your theme is doing what she is designed for. And yes, I think CSS (may be) the way to go. There are some alternate libs out there, too. Anyway, I’ll keep your offer. Talk you later.

Hi. No problem. Thanks for the quick reply. It is your own site.

Please compare

Virtue Pemium:
https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/blog/

with the free wordpress ICY theme:
https://goo.gl/2IoeYg

You may use the ‘Responsive Design View’ Tool on Firefox: <ctrl-shift-m>

Try different screen sizes and watch any title as well as perhaps also the body.

I used Firefox v43.0.4 on a XP system but with a full HD/HDMI monitor 24 inch. You can easily see the difference.

As I see it, your theme’s fontsize did not resized in height with different viewports as the ICY theme did, correctly

To your credit, many themes I tested did NOT resized as they should.

Still, as you can see with ICY, some can.

Thanks for looking into it

Hi solwininfotech,

Don’t remember exactly the site I have tried. I do have many. I will however check this out as I want this plugin to see to work on my sites. Will come back to you, if ever possible.

Thank you for checking it.

Perhaps not fully automatically, but semi-automatically — presenting the site/forms etc but still entering the requested information manually. But I guess that could be still a kind of security breach.

P.S. I had the feeling that OAuth 2.0 was much slowlier than STARTTLS, but perhaps it was only my computer. And as far as OAuth 2.0 goes, I found it difficult to setup (that is, to get the information of the tokens easily from Google’s site). If you could automate this, that would be great.

But no complains! You gave some hints and I got what I wanted.

Jason, thanks for clarification. It helped.

Maybe it is obvously, but thanks to let me know. I’m sure I do have proper server security installed, not just sure now which one.

As for your plugin, I tried plain, login and OAuth 2.o – and all of them worked. Not sure what kind of security CRAM-MD5 is. It looks like an encryption but so is OAuth and login.

Looks like I need to make the tradeoff between speed and security (encryption method) as this is always the case.

Keep on with the good work!

Jason, no I did not. Thank you vey much for the information. Going to follow up this issue.

So what is the alternative? To disable that option? Or to reverse that, meaning SMTP before POP (if that ever has been an option)?

In any case, I will asked the server support for it.

I guess if I’m using your plugin; at least for WP, that mentioned issue wouldn’t be one.

Again, I’m going to fix that strange security issue very soon.

Thanks

Thanks for the links, gonna to read those articles. But I had only few emails who were blocked. In any case, they were sent out, confirmed by your plugin. Your plugin remains to be the best.

p.s.

I’m always tossed between CF7 and cForms2. CF7 has the better functionality, but cForms2 is much better in regards to a form’s skin

What both lack very much is a library of out-of-the-box working RESPONSIVE (with and without JQuery/Ajax) forms. The Internet is full of peoples asking the same suppport questions again and again.

Even for me, as I’m used to program and research the net, it is hard to find exactly what I’m looking for. There are some other good FORM tools out there, but mostly they do lack some functionalites and/or features.

I wish CF7 and cFORMS2 and perhaps a third program would be sharing their best properties.

Luckily, some excellent add-on support exist, such as your CFDB plugin.

Hi Michael,

What I meant is that cForms2 has an integrated forms DB, similar to what CFDB provides to various forms. There are the form details stored.

However, CFDB is much better.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to add WP cForms2 support to your list of forms (as DB support is integrated into the scrips somewhere). But of course, if you are not familar with it, then I feel just pitty about this fact ??

Thanks anyway for your great work. I appreciate and love very much what you have done with and for CF7.

Hi,

No, affirmative, I have NOT set the mentioned page as a post page.

Like I said, the posts (old and new) are being displayed on another static page designed for posts… just without any new or different formatting. Looking at it, it seems my theme design hasn’t changed at all.

In any case, the responsive-mobile theme is free. You can get it here at WordPress: goo.gl/ad4cz0

You may test it out using it. Please do so and let me know. Thanks.
