Great! I really like the minimalist approach of this plugin. ??
Hi Matthias,
this might already solve my problem. Didn’t know, that the screen option setting of this plugin is only available for higher roles i.e. that it is not visible for editors. You are right, I need to restrict the ordering for an editor to just one post type.
So will this work: I (as admin) activate ordering option only for one post type and this will get honored for the editor role? If yes, this would be perfect.Thanks,

In reply to: [Subtitles] Syntax Error when activatingI am already planing an update to PHP 5.4 soon. As the two WP installations (the one with the problem and the other one, where it works), I mentioned above, are on the same server and this server is on PHP 5.3.x it shouldn’t be a problem of PHP I guess.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Syntax Error when activatingI installed directly via www.remarpro.com from the backend of my WP. Tried it several times now and always get this error. WP is 3.9.1 and PHP is 5.3.x, unable to look for the exact version right now.
I tested it on another WP on the same server right now and it was successfull. So it must have to do with something in the specific WP.

In reply to: Problem with form input type in XHTML 1.1Found it! When wrapping the line above in div-tags, it validates!
<div><input type=”text” name=”s” size=”15″ /></div>
Could anybody give me a hint which rule in xhtml strict forces this wrapping?!
Thanks in advance,
Bernhard

In reply to: “write page” strips html tagsFound it! It?′s a definition in the style sheet. Must have been blind. Thanks anyway!

In reply to: “write page” strips html tagsI found that despite the code being there in the source view of the site it is not rendered by the browser as it should be.
A simple unordered list is not shown. So the tags are not stripped but the browser refuses to interpret them.
Could this be connected to the DTD?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: “write page” strips html tagsO.k., found it in the index.php of the template. But there is already this:
<div class=”storycontent”>
<?php the_content(); ?>
</div>Nothing like “the_excerpt” in the whole code!
Any other idea?Forum: Fixing WordPress
