Search engines may see this as duplicate content as it could be seen as 2 pages.

As an example, all hits to https://www.domain.com/contact/ should be redirect to https://www.domain.com/contact

I tried the default theme but it didn’t solve the problem

The RSS worked just fine before with the same theme, after installing your plugin i got the error

Maybe it disables some option on the configuration of WordPress and it remains disabled even after uninstalling your plugin.
