In reply to: Changing Comment Form Title On One PageHi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am not entirely sure how to do this, but here’s what I have done:
-I installed the Code Snippets plugin and clicked Add New
-I copied the code from the link you sent
-I deleted the Post ID number that you said to change, but I didn’t know how to find my Page ID, so I googled it and I think I figured it out. It’s in the url post=# when I edit the page right? Because that’s what I did and the number was 80, so I put that where you said to.
-I changed the code that said ‘<label for=”comment”>%s</label>’, ‘Prayer’ to ‘Comment’
-I changed ‘title_reply’ => ‘Leave a Review’, (it used to say ‘Say a little prayer’)
-I changed ‘title_reply_to’ => ‘Reply to %s’, (it used to say ‘Give your blessings to’)
-I changed ‘label_submit’ => __( ‘Submit your Review’ ), (it used to say ‘Submit your Prayer’)
-Then back on the Code Snippets main dashboard, I wasn’t sure what the little toggle switches next to all of the code snippets were, but since all of the toggles on the example snippets were grey (what I think means turned off), I changed the code snippet I added to have the toggle on blue (what I think means turned on).Now that I’ve done all of this, I went to check my website, but nothing’s changed on the page. What did I do wrong?
I’m wondering if it has something to do with the theme I’m using. That would make my automatic comment form different than the automatic comment form the code snippet I copied was changing. They were using the Astra theme. I’m using the Twenty Twenty theme, so I’m wondering if that changes anything. I have a feeling it does since I don’t have a spot that says reply to, cancel, or submit. The only fields I have in my comment form are:
-Title (says Leave A Reply)
-Comment field (says Comment)
-Name field (says Name and is required)
-Email field (says Email and is required)
-Website
-‘Save my name, email and website in this browser for the next time I comment’ checkbox
-Post Comment button (says Post Comment)Let me know if you think this changes anything. If not, please let me know how I can fix this. Thanks.

In reply to: Changing Dashboard Account EmailHi,
Sorry for taking so long to respond. Thanks for your reply.
I installed the plugin; however, it won’t let me send the test email without configuring an SMTP mailer first. I have no idea what an SMTP mailer is, and I tried googling and reading the help pages but I still don’t understand it. I clicked through all of my SMTP mailer options, but some of them cost money, make me create an account etc., and obviously I do not really want to do that. Overall, I’m not sure which SMTP mailer is the right one for me to select. As you know, I already have my email set up (Microsoft 365: [email protected]); however, it won’t let me select the Microsoft 365 mailer because apparently it’s only a pro option. Although, I don’t even know if my email and this SMTP mailer thing are at all correlated. Anyway, could you help with this?As well, for the other method, I can access my cpanel, but I am not at all familiar with the platform so I don’t know how to access the database and options table you are referring to. I tried exploring the options that said database; however, most of them only gave me the option to create a new database, and the only other one led me to a new tab with information I did not understand and a confusing configuration. If we cannot get this plugin/test email/SMTP mailer method to work, then I will look into contacting Bluehost since I cannot figure out how to do this database method on my own.
Let me know if you can help with the SMTP mailer.

In reply to: Changing Dashboard Account EmailHi,
Thank you for the response. What do you mean by “after resetting the admin email”?
I have NO access to this admin email, and frankly it doesn’t exist (I’ve tried logging into that email address, and Microsoft just said that it was not a valid email address, no matter what password I attempted). I need you to understand that I have no idea where this email is coming from, and I have no way of seeing emails that are sent to this address. Because to what I can tell, this admin email is not a real email. Which is why it is crucial to me to change it to the lindsey email that I can see.I’m not sure how you expect me to try your first solution with the plugin since even if I installed the plugin and got it to send an email to check if my website is sending emails properly, I would NOT be able to see this email. It would go to the admin email and again, I CANNOT see that email address.
Next, I have checked my spam and junk folders, and there’s nothing there either. Just to be clear, these folders are within my lindsey email (the “new” email that I’m trying to confirm), not in the admin email, since I can’t access that email account.
Finally, where do I find the database table? Do you mean this as in go into my wordpress dashboard, go to settings, and the option that says Administration Email Address? Because first of all, I am completely new to wordpress, so I don’t know what else you could mean by database table, and second, when I go there, it again is automatically set to be the admin email, and says that there is a pending change to the lindsey email. Again, it also says the same message “This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this, we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.” Again, take note of how it says it will send an email to my NEW address to confirm it (the lindsey email) and I still have not received an email.
If you could please explain some of this, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

In reply to: Blank space where title used to beThank you so much! This worked perfectly!
I also just deactivated and deleted the Title Remover plugin like you recommended.
Hopefully soon I’ll be able to learn about CSS, but in the meantime I am so glad to have these awesome forums!
Thanks again for all your help and for the quick response!
