In reply to: categories not showing up on blog pageI was hoping the categories would show on my blog page. Isn’t that the way blogs are supposed to work? And on the archive page, when I get up the nerve to post a 4th post and trust that it will automatically move the oldest post to the archive page.
Try http:www.thesmarterhomeoffice.com and then click on the blog
(I will have to figure out what is going on with this blog page link)Thanks

I just received this message after deactivating all my plugins on the recommendation of simplescripts so I could update some security thing.
Obviously I am not a techie. So the above message mean nothing to me. How do I make my public_html safe as a read only??

In reply to: How to add a blog page to a WP websiteDear SS – I was able to find the answer on Thesis support forum. Now I have a blog page (I think). But when I click on “view page” or “preview post” it goes to the 404 error page. If I go to “visit site” I can see the blog page.

In reply to: Add a blog page to static front pagesDear Clayton-
I have the same problem. I looked at the “reading Settings” page and When I select “blog” for “post page” I get the “404 error, gnarly dude” page.
How can I set add a WP blog page to a WP website?
Thanks

In reply to: Pages now showing post title and different post textDear Esme-
I am working with Thesis, non-customized.
I think my problem was that I entered the text and photo thru some sort of back door. After some more fiddling with the software I was able to see the text and photos, deleted both and am now entering the data through the icons on the editing screen in edit page. Much better and can even make changes and tweeks.
Thanks for your help.
