In reply to: I cannot log into my website anymore, help!!!IT WORKED! In that file somewhere on the 6th’s row, there’s “?> <?php” (I think it’s considered line one, as my error msg says 1). I deleted the space between the > and <, and now I could log in.

In reply to: I cannot log into my website anymore, help!!!Thanks.
So now I have the file open (the specific one stated in the warning msg). This file starts with “<?php function callbackx($buffer) “. Should I press enter to let “function” start a new line?

In reply to: I cannot log into my website anymore, help!!!Hi, this must be a very stupid question for many people here, but HOW can I find the wp-config.php file? I don’t have a folder in my computer for my website (I don’t know why). My hosting company is godaddy, and when I check on their website under hosting, I clicked on “FTP file manager”, and I get the below directory tree on the left:
html; wordpress; wp-admin; wp-content; wp-includes.I checked under each name above but none of them has a “wp-config.php” under them. What do I do?

In reply to: [suffusion theme] page layout distorted on earlier IE versionsand no Sayontan, it’s definitely not a deal breaker. I’ve tried many different themes before settling with yours, I wouldn’t want to risk going back again.

In reply to: [suffusion theme] page layout distorted on earlier IE versionsSo is there anyway to find out why this is the case and how I could solve the problem? I tried to change page width from fixed to float, didn’t help.
(i was checking at work, and most company computers are still using IE6 and excel 2003)

In reply to: Listing Child & Sibling CategoriesHi, i don’t know anything about coding, but I need the exact same thing. Can you please tell me where to insert this code? Also, I’m using suffusion theme, would the Sayontan please help me on this please too? Thank you so much!
yeah I replaced all the “include” to “dw_include” for display widget but the child pages widget still didn’t work. But I solved it by replacing all the “include” in suffusion widget to “s_include” and that solved the problem.
I know nothing about coding so I have no idea why it’s solved, but i’m happy lol.

In reply to: Suffusion Child page conflicts with Display Widgets pluginNever mind! I fixed it.
So in addition to changing the “include” to something more unique on Display Widget plugin, I also renamed all “include” to “s_include” on suffusion-child-pages.php, and now it’s working wonderfully!!
I know it’s a small fix but to a person who knows absolutely nothing about CSS or PHP, it’s a huge accomplishment ??
Hi munkykisser! I have tried your way of replacing all “include” to “dw_include”, but the Suffusion child pages still isn’t showing.
Can someone please help!!

In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionI sent an email to GoDaddy, got a reply saying “They do not support post installation”. And taught me how to uninstall… not the most helpful.
But I have a problem resolved. Someone at work helped me find what my original password was, and I changed it back. So connection is back on.
However, I still can’t find my files in GoDaddy Control Panel. I will call them about that later.
Thank you very much for your help!!

In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionWhere on public HTML? I tried https://www.mydomain.com/wp-config.php but it has the same error msg.

In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionseriously, where is this wp-config.php file? How can I access it, do I need to download it somewhere?
Say my link is https://www.mydomain.com, and I’ve installed wordpress on root directory, where can I find and edit the file?
Really appreciate!
