None of the suggestions on this page are working on our website. I just opened the twenty twenty theme and the spaces between the website title, the upper nav bar, and the header image is flippin’ huge.
I can’t implement the block fix because the header isn’t in a block, that I can see.

CAn I remove the header totally? It’s really not necessary for my site.

There is a substantial gap both above and below the Header, even with the CSS added. How can I reduce that white space to about 1 line?

This is a support forum, which means other users are the support. If you don’t get an answer it means no other users who frequent this forum know the answer. I don’t believe that all plungin developers must monitor this page.
You could try going to the plugin website and asking for support there.
I think it was event organizer which I scrapped because I couldn’t get suppport.

Is there documentation and examples on how to use the Pro version? I am not a coder and just can’t make heads nor tails out of the documentaion.. It talks about dynamic and static values, and form codes… and I have no idea.

I also bought the PRo with the understanding I could have up to 5 items, but I’m thinking now this means only 5 selections on the one dropdown? If that’s so, can someone select all 5? That’s the reason I bought the pro.

I’d like to caution you to not expect a response from the plugin people themselves. Although they say they are responsive to questions, take a look at the number of responses on this list — and very few of them are from the plugin itself.
I’m looking for another plugin with at least a modicum of support. The community is great but they can’t answer everything — just look at the number of queries with 0 responses at all.

I have my events in wigits. To get the first date first, flip the ‘order by’ flag to start date and ASC.

if you want the posts to appear under a menu item which says ‘posts’ you need to add them to that menu item as subs on the item. Find this in appearances, menus on the dashboard.
If you want them to appear on the front page, set your front page to posts. Do this in settings, under read… Or something like that.

I tried to use this theme, got no useable response from the developer, so I dumped it.
I wouldn’t wait too long for answers — if you look at the response to questions it seems like it’s not that great.

Thankyou. The excerpt setting does not show by default, it’s necessary to check it in ‘screen options’ before it appears. But then it works for the slider.

I wish you had told me this initially when I asked a week ago about the excerpt length on the slider. We had to re-write all the descriptions to short ones, and the client was not happy, and now I have to re-write them again.

Thanks Rojina. That works on the post excerpt, but not the front page slider. I have the post excerpt set to 100 words, and that works fine. The front page slider shows 25 words only,
