I now managed to get the gallery to display but I do not see any of the ‘proofing’ functionality? How does a client ‘mark’ an image as selected and then send that list to the photographer? I have found all the proofing options and enabled them but it is making no difference whatsoever. Even the password protection part is not functioning.

Hi,
I have now got the proper plugins installed but I now get this when I use the shortcode within a page…

“The Heroic Gallery with the id 425 is empty. “

The gallery is populated with many images so I’m not clear as to why I’m getting this message.

Please help.

So I’ve update the plugin AND changed to a default theme. The plugin still appears to do nothing. Nothing on my admin panel has changed. No settings at all. I still get the message at the top of the page telling me that I need the latest plugin (which I have). Could you please let me know exactly what we are supposed to see relating to this plugin?

I also keep getting this at the top of all my admin pages?….

“You need the latest version of Watermark WP Image Protect installed and activated for the WP Image Protect Premium add on pack to work. Install it now, and ensure it is activated.”

This appears to be for watermarks. I have no desire for watermarks so why is this being displayed.

I have installed and activated this plugin and it appears to do nothing. There is absolutely nothing in my admin panel relating to this plugin. No settings of any kind. Am I missing something?

I am wondering the same thing. Most WP developers place their own custom stylesheet at the end of the head so we can use it to override ANY plugins stylesheets. Why NextGen has chosen to force theirs to be last is beyond me. It is terrible practice and makes more work for everybody. I am now forced to use their admin tool to enter my styles….and it doesn’t work! I am currently totally unable to override ANY ngg styles. ALL the styles I enter via the other options/styles method are completely ignored.
Looks like refund time.

I’m using version 1.8.2
I’ve opened the console and I do see this…
“Error caught by UpdraftPlus ajaxError handler (follows)”

I found Mandrill just put all emails into the junk folder.

I just downloaded the ‘WP Mail SMTP’ plugin and all is well again.

Bottom line…..get an SMTP plugin to send mail and bypass the WP default methods.

Resolved (for now)

This issue was actually occurring for the events manager plugin AND the s2Members plugin.

Using the SMTP setting fixed the events plugin issue but only after I reset the ‘from’ email password (I was using the wrong one…my fault…sorry)

This however only fixed the events plugin. The other plugin that had the same issue (which doesn’t have SMTP options) was fixed by installing the ‘WP Mail SMTP’ plugin.

I am using default email templates.

Nothing in the process is being received by the gmail or hotmail addresses.

All emails whether going to the user or to admin are being received as long as those addresses are NOT gmail, or hotmail.
