In reply to: [Hemingway] Featured image on single post pagesThank you!!! It didn’t work at first, but then I tried putting in “full” (instead of “large”) and it worked!
I didn’t create a child theme or anything like that…. but anyway, I’m happy to have that one resolved.
Thanks so much for your help!

In reply to: [Hemingway] PAGE TITLES (hemingway rewritten)Thank you Rajesh.
I actually had figured out a way to do it before I saw your reply…. a different way (I think I went into the php and removed it from there) but I do appreciate your reply!

In reply to: [Hemingway] Removing header image from other pagesThanks for your reply… but I’m sorry, maybe you misunderstood me.
I don’t want just a picture on the page. I want to change the main header image of this theme that’s at the top of all the pages – into different pictures for different pages. Or, just remove that top header image on certain pages. But I don’t see a way to do that without tinkering with the code.
Does that make sense?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Hemingway] PAGE TITLES (hemingway rewritten)Hi. I’m trying to do the same thing.
But when I inspected the code, it was something like “post-title”…. and the only problem is that I think that is the same tag used for the blog post titles (which I don’t want to remove.)
I just want to remove the page titles. For example, on the Home page.
Thanks!!! ??

In reply to: [Audiobar] How does Audiobar work?Hi. Well, right now I’m trying a different one, that looks like it’s going to work. (But I’m in the middle of setting it up, so I don’t know yet) I like it so far though!
Here is the link if you want to take a look at it:

Thanks for the reply!

In reply to: [Audiobar] How does Audiobar work?typo correction: the only settings I see are the background color, etc. (take out the word ‘for’)

In reply to: [Audiobar] How does Audiobar work?I’m having the same problem as Helen-kh. The only settings or configuration I see is for the background color and text color. I don’t see any place at all to upload songs – not in the dashboard or on the page itself.
Also, now when I go to the site I’m working on, there’s nothing there…. just white. It removed everything.
So I really want to use this (or any plugin that will play music continuously) but unfortunately I’m going to have to deactivate it and delete it, unless someone can help me figure out why it’s not working.
Thanks!
Ah! It’s working now! haha…. I guess for some odd reason, it just needed a few minutes for the change to take place. Now all the thumbnails look great.
And the other problem with the title is resolved too even though I only changed the thumbnail size in the php file, but somehow it got fixed. ??
Thank you!!!
Ok, since I couldn’t find it in the wordpress editor, I did end up finding the right file in another way. I made the change, saved it, etc… but the thumbnail is still the same! Even after clearing the cache a few times.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here. ??
I tried to find that php mentioned on this thread in order to change the code…. but I don’t have it. At least I can’t find it anywhere in the editor through wordpress.
I really need to find a solution to this same problem…. my preview images look really bad – all pixelated.
Another problem I’m having is the h4 area is very small, so a title that is longer than the hard-coded width goes to the line below… which looks silly because I resized the compact box area in the css, and there’s room for the title to be on one line.
If someone could please help, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks!

In reply to: [Untitled] Front Page Slider Without Blog PostsOk, let’s see if I can remember the steps.
1) Find the page-full-width.php file
2) Duplicate that file by saving it with a different name. (“Save as” something like “homepage-full-width.php” )
3) At the top of the file, where it says: Template Name: Full-Width Page, change that to a different template name, like “Home Page”. That way, that new template will show up under ‘templates’ when you go to wordpress to edit. But before you do that, here’s the important part:
4) Find the index.php file
5) Near the top of the file, you should see:
get_header();
get_template_part( ‘slider’ ); ?>Copy that and paste it on to the the homepage template you created. You’ll see where it goes… It already has the ‘get header’ code but not the second line which calls the slider.
6) Save and upload that new homepage template.
7) Go to wordpress and it should be there under templates, just select that.
And that’s it…. It worked for me!
Although I am having to change the width of the main area, because it’s showing up as 700 for me…. but that’s not a big deal, that can be changed in the main css file.
Btw, I’m using Dreamweaver. I’m not sure what you are using, but if you don’t have dreamweaver, you can probably still edit those files through the editor in wordpress or with another program.

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Not working, I need help please! Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I kinda figured that out. I had to create a search results page by using another theme’s search.php as an example. It wasn’t easy! But I think it’s working now.
I do have a question. Where can I change the css? There’s not enough padding between the individual search results … but other than that, I think it’s all good now!
thanks!!
