That snippet worked great, thank you. But I have a question. I would like to change the price button text on the product thumbnails to say “View Product” instead. If it’s possible, could you give me the code to make that change, or direct me to where I can make the change myself? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Hi. I’m having this problem too, but the css only worked on a normal size screen. On a mobile, the cart is still showing up, no matter what I do.

Hi Kathryn!

I’m trying to do the same thing (change the background color of the Hemingway theme menu bar) but when I did what you said, it only changed the inner part of it… so it doesn’t look right because the rest of it is still in that dark color.

What code do I change to get the whole menu bar – all the way across – to a different color?

It’s OK. I went ahead and purchased the premium version.

I still have some problems with the home page (the content was not showing up, except for the pre-made features for the homepage)…. but I’ve been tinkering with the code, and so far it’s coming along.

Sorry, I also have one more question!

This plugin is showing up above my ‘share this post’ plugin which I wanted to keep directly underneath the post.

How do I move it down a bit, so people won’t miss the post-sharing buttons?

If I fiddle around with the code, I might be able to figure this out. But a few minutes ago I did something wrong with the code and my whole site went blank, so I’d rather you just tell me instead of me messing up everything. ??

I was able to change the font size, which helped with the title…

But I still need help with the thumbnail image. It won’t show up the right size no matter what I do.

I have a question about the site title too.

I moved it to the left, like you said… but how do I move it up, so it’s in the traditional place? (top left corner)

I like how it looks in the middle, but unfortunately it covers up some of the photos I’m using so I think I just want to have the title/ logo in the top left corner.

Ok, I tried what it said on that link. I did exactly what the guy said… and it didn’t work. My blog still has these: […] instead of the continue reading boxes.

Maybe I put it on the wrong place in the functions.php file? I tried in a couple places.

The funny thing is, on bradsknton’s site, he says “See my blog page to see a live example.” So I went to his blog page, and all of his blog excerpts ended with: […] also!

So maybe that code doesn’t work anymore?

Sorry for being such a pain! I just want to have those continue reading boxes.

Hi again (I’m sorry for all these posts of mine! )

A few days ago I did what the person who posted this thread wanted to do….

but now I want to change it back to how it originally was. I changed back the code in the content.php file, but I still want to have only summaries show up on the blog page – just like you have it in your demo – with the “continue reading box”.

I went to settings to make sure it was on “summary” but now the entire blog post is showing up.

I want summaries, but not with the ‘[…]’. I just want it to look like the demo.

Hi… I’m having a similar problem.

I removed the meta data on a specific category. And now, when I look at that category page, it shows in one big black box, with white text.

How do I remove that black box so it’s just normal?

Oh you’re right. Hmm. I’m not familiar with using child themes, so… Well, I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Since you seem to be knowledgeable, would you have any idea how to remove the main header image from particular pages? For example, the Blog page doesn’t need it, because there are already a lot of images there. I did start a thread for this, but haven’t gotten any replies so far.
