I’ve got it sorted now. It took all weekend and many, many beers but it’s done. Somehow the “Link to” option on the photo upload page got changed from “media file”.

I can only assume it happened on a software upgrade because I certainly didn’t do it.

doubleedesign, thanks for the reply. My error saying that it was a gallery. The images are, of course, on individual pages. One of the other URLs is

Many thanks Keith. It’s a great plugin and I wouldn’t like to be without it.

I’m using V3.7 on two sites and find I am unable to disable the option to check the Stop Forum Spam database.
As soon as I save the options the tick reappears in the checkbox.

After an hour of trying I can finally see the categories. I just wish I knew what I’ve done to make them re-appear. ??

Update

I now seem to have lost “Categories” altogether despite them appearing as installed on the widget page.

Once you mentioned it out I could see that. Sometimes I need the obvious pointed out to me.

Thanks Ipstenu, the validation plugin seems to have done the trick.

Just installed a trackback validation plugin. We’ll see if that stops ’em

Thanks for the useful suggestions. I’ve just installed Cookies-for Comments so I’ll see how that goes. Unfortunately my host doesn’t support .htaccess so that’s out.
