I also had the Pinterest Safari extension (which I now uninstalled). It was only on some posts (no logical conclusions there) and I could delete the text HTML.
I’ll see if it rears its ugly head again.
Thanks for posting!
Same issue. Deleted Jetpack (from cPanel) then added new plugin (now that WP worked again) and all’s well.
Thanks for the clarification! The category search could be handy (too).

In reply to: [Tumblr Importer] [Plugin: Tumblr Importer] Not working with Tumblr API v2 ?Ouch, I didn’t need this until … I need it. I had imported 600+ posts just fine a few weeks ago and was thrilled to see that if I imported again, it wouldn’t duplicate what I had already done. Now I’m ready for the final import and it doesn’t work (for the newest 100 or so). Thanks for any status update … or a Plan B?

In reply to: Anyone using 2.7 and Godaddy and site runs slow after upgrade?I think I may have found the culprit at least in my case.
For the site in question (writingsalons.com) I’m using WP 2.7.1 and WP E-Commerce 3.6.10. For WP EC 3.6.10, they changed the directory/folder name and that’s what was causing the trouble. I used Firebug and Y Slow (add-ons for Firefox) and found that WP EC was trying to call some files that were now moved (they were now in /wp-e-commerce/ and no longer in /wp-shopping-cart/). Using Y Slow, I could see that those files were timing out (404) and causing the slowdown. I did a search and replace of the plugin files and voila: speedy again!
So I hope that was the trick. I have to say, I’m very impressed that a GoDaddy staffer is on these forums. Very cool.
Moral of the story? Get more detail on what’s causing the slowdown. Coincidentally, I had another client say her site was slow and it was completely other issues (Google, Feedburner, etc. external calls). Did a little screencast about it here.
Best,
Bradley

In reply to: Admin login problemsI had the same thing. Revmoving alinks did the trick. Anyone know of a replacement for alinks? What it did was great (make url’s from keywords).

In reply to: Super Slow AdminFor me, it was alinks. Deleted that (with FTP as I couldn’t even get to the plugins page to deactivate it) and all was well again.
