I don’t create the link items in the feeds, they come from the feed source. They are not posts. They are created using the RSS widget. Doesn’t anyone else use RSS feeds on their site?

Doesn’t that mean that I will have to constantly be editing links as new items appear in the feeds?

I have lots of widgets, but I am not using most of them, but I am using one for RSS feeds that I can drag and drop in any part of my layout and enter the feed URL and how many items to display. The problem is that it doesn’t give me the option to have the feed items open in a separate window/tab like I can do with all the other links I place on my site.

OK, I see now that there is a separate plug-in called share this, but I have been using what came with WordPress in the settings for sharing. Now I am wondering who can tell me why this isn’t working properly?

I got that covered for the links that are in my links sidebar, what I’m talking about are the links in my posts and the RSS links that are from feeds that I used the RSS widget to create. I don’t see any place to specify to have them open in new window option.

I really don’t have a clue what to do with that code. All I know is that I used the back office to choose the sharing options in the settings. I went to the settings menu sharing link and chose the services,button style and label, where the button will show, and whether it opens in a new window. There is a live preview that works, so I don’t understand why I should be having to mess with the code.

I’m no expert with code, but I do see something starting on line 272 that has the word share in it. Line 287 has an image for share too. Is that not what you are looking for?

How do I make the hyperlinks in my posts open in a separate window or tab?

Thanks for that. Now I know how to disable comments, but what I really would like is to move the comment bar to the bottom of the page, or just eliminate it so that comments only appear at the bottom of posts/pages.

I’ve been playing around with it some more and when I create a new page, I don’t have the option of placing it in one of the categories I created, but when I post, I have the option of placing it in one of the categories that I created.
OK, I just read the docs about pages, and I will have to adapt to this unless or until I learn more.
