In reply to: [Site Kit by Google - Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, Speed] Plugin WorksHi @jamesosborne ,
Yes, please do, you can use it. Do tell if you require further information. If there’s a knowledgebase you’d like me to post to, I can re-write them to suit a troubleshooting format based on the site.
And thank you again for sharing the Adsense support site. I’ll look into it.
Thanks again James. You’ve been an immense help with your feedback and guidance, and it had been a pleasant experience.

In reply to: [Site Kit by Google - Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, Speed] Plugin WorksHi James, here’s what I’ve tried.
Site Kit: Active Adsense:disconnected Tag Manager:disconnected Analytics:connected
I’ve already disconnected Adsense and Tag Manager from Site Kit (screenshot)Running Page Speed Insights, it yields 81%, with the issue still from Google Tag Manager (impact at 305ms)
So I tried deactivating the Site Kit plugin, and tested the page speed. It returned back to 93%
now I’m trying with Google Analytics disconnected
Site Kit: Active Adsense:disconnected Tag Manager:disconnected Analytics:disconnected
Page speed: 92%.
Now, I add these services manually:
Site Kit:activated Adsense:manually added to site Analytics:manually added to site
Page Speed: 66% , with main culprit are Google Doubleclick Ads,516ms: https://imgur.com/a/1jm9ytZSite Kit:deactivated Adsense:manually added to site Analytics:manually added to site
Page Speed: 73%, with main culprit still Google Doubleclick Ads,316ms:I read there’s a workaround here related to speeding up a site with Adsense installed using AutoOptimize plugin, so let’s try it.
Site Kit:activated Adsense:connected Analytics:connected additional plugin:Autoptimze
Page Speed: 79%, with main culprit Doubleclick Ads at 234ms: https://imgur.com/a/WMzmeJFSite Kit:deactivated Adsense:manually added to site Analytics:manually added to site additional plugin:Autoptimze
Page Speed: 85%, main culprit still Doubleclick Ads at 209msThus, I can conclude that Google Adsense script is slowing down my site. It is a dilemma as I intend to have Adsense there. But that’s an issue for another day, in another place.
Unfortunately, it also meant that the Site Kit plugin will be redundant, as initially I intend to use it to see my Adsense and Analytics through WordPress using the dashboard feature.
I’ll bump up the rating to 4, as it is not the plugin’s fault for the slow page loading, only that it is more functional without the main purpose I installed it.
As my Adsense is currently on Experiment mode, it may have contributed to the slow page loading. I’ll have the Site Kit + Adsense connected + Analytics connected combination on first for one month. If it’s still slow, I’ll deactivate Site Kit first, and if it’s still below 90%, I will try to see for Adsense alternatives that is lighter.
Do you have any suggestions?

In reply to: [Site Kit by Google - Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, Speed] Plugin WorksI’ve tried. No bueno (a.k.a. I don’t understand a single thing what I should do).
Submitted my Site Health Info via Google Form.
Based on the Lighthouse and Page Speed Insights result, the main culprit seems to be Google/Doubleclick Ads and Google Tag Manager, taking 516ms and 342ms main-thread-blocking time respectively.
Now, correct me if I’m wrong…aren’t those two supposed to take effect if I connect my Site Kit to Google Adsense and Google Tag Manager? Because so far I’ve only connected to Search Console, Analytics, and Page Speed Insight. I didn’t connect to Adsense and Tag Manager yet.
Yes please, any direction or guidance would be an immense help.

In reply to: [Site Kit by Google - Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, Speed] Plugin WorksHi James,
Thank you for your response and guidance. I’m not much on the technical dev side, but I’ll check the plugin documentation. If it still yield the same results, I’ll fill the form with my Site Health info. Hopefully it’ll work, and I’ll rate again.
Thank you again for reaching out.
