I really appreciate your help. Just wanted to come back and let you know that it ended up being the Twitter widget. The sliders reappear when I deactivate the Twitter widget, so I guess I just have to choose ??

I’ve tried all of the plugins, but none of them seem to be the issue. I can’t really revert to the default theme, otherwise I’d lose the current website. I have not changed anything with the theme since the sliders were working, though, so I don’t think it would be a problem.

Do you have any other ideas?

All appears to be right in the world again! With v 1.4.3, bbpress forum posts/commenting is working, and all of my blog comment spam is being blocked again.

Looks like that fixed the commenting problem! I can post in the forums with no issue using v 1.4.3.

I can let you know tomorrow if it’s affected the spam coming in. It was previously blocking almost all of our blog comment spam, and since de-activating we’ve been getting about 20 – 30 spam comments each night. So it’ll be easy to tell if those are blocked successfully again!

For me, it was working since installing it, and then one day this started. It didn’t seem to correlate with an update to either Spam Destroyer or bbpress, so I’m not sure what changed.

We’ve been having this problem for a while, too, I had to deactivate Spam Destroyer – which sucks, because now I get tons of spam ??

I just tried activating the plug-in again and it looks like your fix hasn’t gone through yet. Hopefully soon! I’ll try again later this week.

I didn’t realize it wasn’t a part of the plug-in. Unfortunately this didn’t work, though.

It turns out that it wasn’t working without the “https://” at the beginning of the embed code.

In the MailChimp for WP form settings, the ‘Add to Form’ doesn’t work. And nothing shows up in ‘Generated HTML’ when I choose any options.

I added the checkbox on the MailChimp side, and it’s available in the drop down menu now to Add to Form on the plugin, it just won’t generate HTML or add anything to the form. (Had the same problem with First and Last name).

Can you give me the html that would be used to add the checkbox so I can manually add it in?
