In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Can’t add new LocationThe conflict is apparently with RSVPMaker plug-in. Problem goes away if I deactivate RSVPMaker.
How might I go about resolving this conflict?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Can’t add new LocationThe Chrome console shows:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
admin.php?page=eme-locations:1 The SSL certificate used to load resources from https://www.paypal.com will be distrusted in M70. Once distrusted, users will be prevented from loading these resources. See https://g.co/chrome/symantecpkicerts for more information.
plugin.min.js?ver=4607-20171116:1 Deprecated TinyMCE API call: <target>.onNodeChange.add(..)No related errors in the server log.
In Windows 10 and Chrome, the background turns blue while I hold down the mouse button, but nothing happens.
The “Add location” screen looks odd, as if the application form is superimposed over a blank WordPress screen.
I also tested it on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.1.6) on Chrome and Firefox with the same results.

In reply to: [RSVPMaker] Submit button disappearedI believe I have found the problem here. For some reason, the closing “greater-than” symbol was missing from the “<!–end of profile section–>” statement in the RSVP Form code. Putting it back fixed the issue.

In reply to: [Connections Business Directory] Update 0.7.9.4 Broke My DirectoryThat was it. I must have changed it back to the Default template at some point.
Thanks for the help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Connections Business Directory] Update 0.7.9.4 Broke My DirectoryThe above fixed the basic display of the Bio Entry Card 2.0 template. But now the Biographical Info no longer displays in the front end. Instead, the Category is displayed.
How do I fix that?
PS: I have updated to version 0.7.9.5

In reply to: [Email Users] Unable to Save in Email Users in Settings menuIt only happens when I try to Save Settings.
I turned on error logging in my Web Hosting Control Panel, tried Saving again, and got the following error:

In reply to: [Email Users] Unable to Save in Email Users in Settings menuYes, it is completely repeatable. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plug-in several times, which got rid of the “old version” message, but the “412 Error” persists. Also tried with Firefox, Chrome and IE browsers.
The full text of the error message is:
——————–
412 ErrorYour request got filtered out due to possible security issues.
One or more things in your request were suspicious (defective request header, invalid cookies, bad parameters)
If you think you did nothing wrong:
try again with a different browser
avoid any evil characters inside the request urlIf you are the owner of the website, you can consider revising the rules of the mod_security module or turning it off from your Web Hosting Control Panel.
