Hi @acanderson811 Can you confirm which version of this plugin you’re using?

Just double checking to make sure I understand your issue: Do you mean none of the blocks are showing up in the block inserter when you search for woocommerce, or product?

Heya @seank123 it’s possible it’s a plugin conflict. I’d look at other plugins too, not just blocks.

It’s a bit tedious to troubleshoot, but if you can deactivate the other plugins on the site one by one and check to see if it starts working each time you deactivate a plugin, you’ll either find the culprit, or rule that out as the problem.

@annatje84 By chance was your WordPress site using a language other than English? The update we released yesterday fixed a bug that was preventing the blocks from showing up on non english sites.

Please update to version 1.3.1 and let me know if that resolves your issue.

Hi @kkrajniak My apologies for the slow response, but thank you for the candid feedback.

It’s very difficult to use add in a product block within a column block – it brings the text down to one or two letters per line and makes searching through products and selecting options impossible. My only work around was to make the product block outside of the column block and then drag it in.

That’s a great point – admittedly, the grid based blocks are aren’t going to perform as well when placed into columns, in particular if it’s a very narrow column, as you’ve noted. We’re still looking for a better solution to this problem, but it’s going to take some coordination with the core team to get it sorted out.

The search functionality itself is pretty bad, not all products show up. I can type the exact name of a product in the search bar, yet other ones show up instead.

In the latest release we’ve added a number of new blocks, and hidden the legacy block, which a number of folks pointed out, had challenges with searching. The new blocks should perform much better now.

As for adding individual products, why can’t they be displayed in the order I put them?

The latest release included a new “Hand Picked Products” block, and while this first release doesn’t include custom ordering, we’ve got an issue open to add the functionality in a future release.

A necessary feature that’s missing is a category block, showing the category image and linking to the WooCommerce category

This latest release included a “Featured Product” block, which lays the ground work for adding a Featured Category block that functions as you’ve described. We’ve got it on our road map, and will be adding it in a future release.

This is a feature plugin in rapid development. While stable and safe to use, it should not be considered a finished product. I hope that upcoming releases will meet your approval. Thanks again for your review!

@tlbh with the most recent update we’ve added a “Featured Product Block”. It will allow you to pick one product and align it as you’ve described.

We’re currently tracking this as a bug that’s affecting non-english WordPress installations. The bug is causing a JS error on the blocks that prevents them from showing up. It be resolved with a patch today.

Hi @seank123 My apologies for the slow response. We haven’t experienced any issues with the blocks on a multi-site installation. I’ve tested it with a network wide activation successfully.

Would you be able to provide any more detail about your environment?
