In reply to: Can you restore a WordPress site?Hi again Kartik,
I’ve bought one more year of basic managed wordpress from godaddy to see if that would give me any control back. I get two options: ‘build a brand new website’, which asks me to create a new wordpress account, or migrate an existing site which has to have a live wordpress-powered site (and right now my website isn’t working because of the previously cancelled wordpress).
I’ve tried logging into letsnotthink.com/wp-admin to try to access plugins but I just get a page that says ‘403 Forbidden’.
Do you think there’s any other option except to pay the £104 restoration fee to godaddy?
Sorry about all these questions! I’m not very good at technology!

In reply to: Can you restore a WordPress site?@kartiks16 Hi Kartik,
Thank you very much for your quick response!
I don’t have Linux so I could never access cpanel I don’t think. And godaddy has just removed my access to wordpress through their website, so now all I have access to is my domain name.
I can still log in to my wordpress account and all the stats for site visitors are there, but it’s just that all my blog posts are gone.
Is there anything I can do?
Hi, I don’t know what you’ve done but I’m getting more spam subscribers than I’ve ever gotten before. I think I’ll look for an alternative plugin but I just wanted to let you know that the issue wasn’t resolved. Thanks.
Thank you! That’s instantly solved the issue!

In reply to: [Ashe] Related Posts PreviewsHi Vako,
I took screenshots of the ‘customise’ page but can’t seem to post them here. The problem is whether ‘Related Posts – Display’ is set to ‘none’ or ‘Related’, nothing changes. When I change it to ‘none’, we still just have the links there.
Before, we used to have it set to ‘Related’ and even without a featured image, we still had excerpts of the related blog post under the link.I don’t know why that’s changed so suddenly, and I wonder if it’s because of the recent update.
And yes, I have pressed ‘publish’ and the changes still don’t show up.

In reply to: [Ashe] Author Name PlacementWe ended up just creating new categories for authors instead, which served the same purpose as author tags at the bottom of the page.
Thank you @heateor !
