Would this have to be done as explained here? At which point in wp-config do I have to add it? And can I take the key for the domain, so it will be used for all subdomains?

Yeah, I often wondered why MS is treated so negligent. After all, everyone is well advised to use it, since one can have a test site and a live site, side by side, on one single installation.

Alright, it was my mistake. I had used two different email addresses for sender email and SMTP username. Apparently this will no longer be accepted by BackWPup since v3.3.6.

Same problem here – PHP 5.6.12, Slimstat 4.4.2, only question marks where country and browser type should be displayed. Shared Hosting with 128 MB RAM, 40sec CPU.

thanks, but the bookmarks do not seem to work. I also deactivated the other plugin to make sure they don’t conflict, but that did not help.

If you look at one of my forums, I think even as unregistered user you should see an encased “>” after every topic. This lets you jump to the first unread post in a thread, and is very helpful in case of longer discussions. One never has to click through their own topics’ subpages any more just to read and answer to the latest posts.

Maybe, you could just add this functionality and I can just drop the other plugin?

I think it works now! I have no idea if it slows down the forums, the load times are (and always have been) all over the place. Would you expect it to slow things down?

EDIT: Actually, it seems Site Load and Page Speed both increase from ~2-3s to ~3-4s. That is not too good.

One minor thing: Before, I had all threads read; some topics are now marked unread. There seems to be no logic behind it, it concerns some old stuff. But of course, for that we have the “Mark all as read” button.

I now have both versions installed, only the dev is activated. How do I progress after you pushed the update? Delete dev, update regular, activate?

Also, it would be great if your plugin would integrate with “Go to First Unread Post”. I have that as well, and some topics are marked unread by one but not the other. It makes no sense… especially, since I have definitely read each and every topic in its entirety.

Hi everyone,

I stumbled upon a very interesting article about using a FB App with sharing plugins to obtain more information about shares, which is something I would have really liked when our first post got sort of viral. I have no data about these interactions except the raw numbers.

So I immediately took all necessary steps to utilize our FB App (which is effectively our website) and entered the info in CSSC. Does this automatically mean that the App will be used by CSSC? I notice no difference in the sharing popup.

@guilhermenocera, the CSS seems not to work any more; the button is gone on my site. However, I cannot say whether this is due to Jetpack or CSSR, since both had an update this morning, and I ran them both in one go… I only presume it was for Jetpack.
Is the WhatsApp button still working on your site?
