In reply to: [Database Backup for WordPress] Latest Update | Active again? Thanks @rhand @bob33 – your info gives me confidence to start using this plugin again. I deactivated it on my sites after the Wordfence alert and I’ve been using All-In-One WP Migration as a belt-and-braces stopgap since. Since some of the recent Wordfence disclosures about plugins being bought by dodgy people I’m very wary of any plugin removed from the WP repository. Thanks to Austin for the update.
Thanks for your reply Brian. I’ve checked my hosting panel and I’ve used only 150MB of 10,000Mb and the mySQL db is 16MB (max 500MB) so I think I’ll monitor future alerts and hope this turns out to be a false alarm.
Regards

In reply to: Googlebot cannot access CSS and JS filesIt can’t be coincidence we’re all getting these emails from Google today – I wonder if it’s related to a recent WP update or plugin update. My robots.txt file is:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
and I’ve not had problems until today.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Version 3.2.0 not backward compatibleThis doesn’t work. Tried it on a test site with v 3.2.2 and got the ever-spinning wheel and message: ‘Done creating an empty archive’
I’ve ONCE AGAIN rolled back to v 2.0.5 which works for meForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Version 3.2.0 not backward compatibleI’ve now uninstalled v 3.2.0 and copied an older version of the plugin folder from another website, zipped it and uploaded to new site. Seems to work OK until latest version gets fixed.

In reply to: [WP SimpleWeather] Stopped WorkingI’ve got the same problem which is a great shame as it’s been an excellent plugin. I’ve tried tweaking settings without success so I’ve now switched to WP Wunderground until WP Simpleweather is fixed.
