Hi @mitkoxvx,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
I have a completely non-commercial, non-profit website that I do in my spare time for love, but Jetpack insists that it is commercial and I can’t use their free stats.
We define a commercial site as one that you aim to make money from. This could be through advertising or affiliate links, selling products or services, soliciting donations or sponsorships, or any other means directly related to any business or organization. If a site is free of these commercial elements, it’s eligible for a free Jetpack Stats plan.
It’s understandable that not everyone will agree with us on this definition, but it’s what we’ve chosen in order to be able to continue offering Stats as a service while also remaining sustainable.
Could you please contact Jetpack support privately via this contact form and mention this thread? We’ll be happy to keep helping you there.
Talk to you soon.
Hi @collectifhandicap54, you’re very welcome.
Thanks for using Jetpack and let us know if you ever need help with anything in the future. We’ll be here.
Best wishes.
Hi @jthompsonpellcity, thanks for getting in touch.
The page I need help with:?https://pell-city.org
Could you double-check the URL of the site you’re asking about and get back to us? https://pell-city.org does not appear to be a Jetpack-connected site.
Thanks!
Hi @henriette1982,
Thanks for reaching out.
But even on 0 euro Jetpack wants credit card details and I don’t have a credit card. So how can I get my stats back??
When you’re on the checkout page for your non-commercial Jetpack Stats license, you should be able to select the option to add payment information later. But it looks like maybe you’ve already figured that out! I checked your account and looks like you successfully added a Jetpack Stats (Free non-commercial license) plan to the site https://www.reisoverdegrens.nl.
Could you let us know if you can access your stats now? If not, we can do some more troubleshooting.
Hi @geobehr,
Jetpack support can definitely help you with this. Could you contact us privately via this contact form and mention this thread?
Make sure you’re contacting us from your email address associated with your WordPress.com account that connected these sites to Jetpack.
Thanks!
Hi Vincent,
Thank you for your reply. The reason given for your site’s commercial designation was “Business contact details”. I have now manually reviewed your site and does appear to be non-commercial in nature, so I have made that update in our systems.
Please try again now to do the re-verification process, following the steps above. Let me know if you run into any issues!
Best wishes.
Hi @guillermo77,
Thanks for getting in touch.
just want change the color of the loading gallery from white to black. When you press the image, and launch the gallery, that circle before load the gallery. ??
Once you activate the Jetpack Carousel feature, there are two locations from which you can select the background color:
- The Media section at?Jetpack →? Settings →? Writing?in your Jetpack Dashboard. From this page you can change the Carousel color scheme, as well as choose to show or hide the photo Exif metadata and the comments area in the image lightbox.
- The settings in your WP Admin Dashboard under?Settings →? Media.
Could you let me know which of these methods you’re trying to use? If neither of these work for you, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

As per our Scope of Support, we don’t provide assistance with custom CSS.
Hi @luciechobotova, thanks for getting in touch with us here at Jetpack.
While it’s unlikely that the root of the issue is caused by Jetpack, we do have a support document here that might be helpful for you:
The WordPress support documentation also suggests some other ways to reset your password and regain access to your account:
I hope this is helpful. Let us know how it goes!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Image removal requestHi @fantomius-sv,
Thanks for getting in touch with us here at Jetpack support.
I’ve just removed the requested image from our cache.?A couple things to note:- If you reload the Site Accelerator-specific URL (the one starting with?
i0
) to check whether the image has indeed been deleted, this will trigger our system to re-cache the image. Please?do not?reload the image URL that starts with?https://i0.
. - It can take a hour or more to fully clear the cache.
Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Hi @theholler, thanks so much for your five-star review. I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying using Jetpack Boost!
We primarily provide support in English, so I’ll be replying in English but you’re welcome to continue replying in French. I’ll use Google Translate for your replies.?
If you believe that your site’s commercial classification does not accurately reflect its current content, you can request a re-evaluation of your site directly from your WordPress.com Dashboard.
Before requesting a reclassification, please ensure you’ve made all necessary changes to remove commercial content from your website to align with our commercial status definition.
Follow these steps to trigger a self-service reclassification of your site’s commercial status:
- Navigate to your site’s?Purchase?page on WordPress.com.
- Click?Reverify?to initiate the on-demand commercial reclassification process.
- You will see a message indicating, “We are verifying your site. Please come back later…”
This reclassification should reinstate your free Jetpack Stats. Please let us know if you need further assistance and we’d be happy to help.
Hi @aronambrosiani,
We define a commercial site as one that you aim to make money from. This could be through advertising or affiliate links, selling products or services, soliciting donations or sponsorships, or any other means directly related to any business or organization.
If your site has any of these, you will need a paid Jetpack Stats plan. You can read more about that here:
https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-stats/free-or-paid/
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hey @waxhead, thanks for letting us know about this issue.
I just get shunted around a continuous loop, that always gets back to asking for my credit card.
It definitely sounds like something’s not working quite right with the checkout flow. You should be able to choose Assign Payment Method Later and finish the checkout process without needing to add credit card information.
I tried to reproduce this issue on a test site but I wasn’t able to. If you’d like, we could keep helping you troubleshoot. Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread if you’d like us to take a closer look?
