In reply to: [Polylang] Language switcher custom front pageI am really trying to find a solution to the issue I described, I just wonder if I am the only one with this issue… must be more people than me using “domain per language” out there and it doesn’t seem like it is an issue with the responsive theme I am using.
Found this:
and:
but you’re saying “plugin is obsolete since Polylang 1.0” … I really have no clue where to look for issues in my wordpress.

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangDear Choub,
do you see any chance of this issue being resolved within the next 1-2 months or helping me out with a workaround here?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangHey Chouby,
thanks for the update. Any suggestion where I chould have a look for this? Would love to build me a workaround, even if it’s just a static/absolute path.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangHey Choub,
can you confirm my issue or is this an error I should look for in my own environment?
Took a quick look at the code, but didn’t find out in time to eventually find a fix for this. Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangPlayed around a bit more. Had this activated:
The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id
If I deactivate it, the navigation will work because it will point to the slug like bla.com/wordpress/welcome and bla.de/wordpress/willkommen
which is not so nice structure.
Even then the url bla.de/wordpress/ will redirect to bla.com/wordpress/ when no slug is entered after the root dir of the wordpress install.Guess I’ll have to restructure my site to get “language per domain” working.

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangP.S. language per domain did work on top-level directory…
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Polylang] Polylangok I tried it with WP-install on top level. Looks like language per domain is not working if wordpress doesn’t reside in the top level. Changed it back to double check and I still get redirected to the default language homepage when trying to access bla.nl/wordpress/ :-/

In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangIt doesn’t work for me, I always get redirected to bla.com/wordpress/ when trying to access bla.nl/wordpress/
What could be causing this? (fresh install, responsive theme, all up to date)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Polylang] PolylangSo you’re saying:
1. I can only have a custom (theme) home/startpage in the default language?
2. I can’t have different language content here: bla.com/wordpress/ and bla.nl/wordpress/? where “/wordpress/” is not a “slug” and just the home directory. There’s really no slug since it’s the home page…
