I have FTP passwords to make updates and install plugins. I can not find anywhere in my user profile where I can change this access. Can ypu be more specific how I can find it?

Seems like a great guide to how to make a child theme…its just that I dont know WHERE do I actually make it? Where are those wp-theme folders?

What is theme files? I have been making changes in Settings – editor – stylesheet css, is that the theme files? Will those changes come along in theme updates?

Only this worked:

Eventualy, You can simply add
#site-wrapper #site-body-wrapper #site-archives-header h3{display:none;}
at the end of style.css of that theme, which shoud hide it.

Michal, tehre is no such things as category.php. There is a archive.php but I can not find your suggested construction there. Can I just do the #site-wrapper #site-body-wrapper #site-archives-header h3{display:none;} in the stylesheet?
