The theme doesn’t force the title format ? I thought it was the reason.
Should I just try another meta tags plugin ?

I do not need to absolutely use a plugin. I just want to get the Meta tag Title and Meta tag Description that I choose for each page.

It worked and reduced a little the unwanted space.

Last question: if i want the more full page image on my home page (on mobile the image is still quite small), i think the best way is to remove the page content box on my home page (only). Is there an easy way to do that ? I did not succeed…

Hi,

I refreshed the theme, and found the mistake. I put a condition in order not to see the footer on my homepage: if( !is_front_page() ) {get_footer();}, and it seems the responsive menu was link to the footer.
So now it works.

Another point: still on the homepage, as i don’t have any header image, there is an important blank between the logo and the image (only on mobile, it looks ok on computer). Any solution to reduce this blank ?
