i couldn’t get into the guy’s site with the easiest player, so went for the more complicated podpress. at first i had the same troubles…which leads me to believe it was an upload – file finding problem. i was trying to put everything into a file called audio, as per the advice from somewhere i can no longer recall, and link directly to it, but was clearly missing a link in the chain somewhere.

anyway i think i’ve got it working with podpress…and will post in a day or two to make sure in case anyone wants to check.

and yes, i realize i’m having a conversation with myself.

Okay I’m getting closer to the source of the problem, which is me, I suspect…anyway I’m now trying a different plugin, as suggested, Podpress.

I tried the plug in Audio Player on the site https://www.davidtracey.ca, but the mispost is no longer there as i swept the remnants up with a delete.

maybe i should try another plug in. i like the automagic blue button concept…
