Installing the previous version worked for me. It recommended that I remove a previous addin cache, which I did. The upgrade to the current version worked fine.

I suspect there is residual stuff from the wp-rocket installation.

Hi, I can’t activate the W3 Total Cache plugin. I get the message: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. No error details are provided. All themes, plugins, are updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, no joy. I switched to a default theme and I get the same error.
I recently uninstalled the WP Rocket plugin before I installed W3 Total Cache. Could this be a factor?
