In reply to: My custom css is available to see on my websiteHey Carol,
I’ve been thinking about this. Since you have no live links to the CSS page on the above pages, it could be as simple as a developer that likes your site and is checking out your CSS. It’s easy to locate the custom CSS in the source code. Perhaps your live traffic is showing that?
Might just be a nice compliment. It is a lovely site!

In reply to: how to make the links stand out moreHi Maximillian!
You can change your ‘a’ tag in your CSS to any color to help your links stand out.
Open your Customizer in your Admin panel and find the ‘Additional CSS’ tab. Then you can add this to your CSS.
a { color: red; }
Make it any color you like:)
Hope that helps!

In reply to: Image upload – HTTP ERRORHi Zuzu,
I’ve run into this issue a number of times. In my case, it was always the size of the image causing the browser to time out and trigger the HTTP error. The image size being anywhere close to the max upload size seems to a problem but also the dimensions and resolution can cause an issue. Keeping your images below 2000px and under 96dpi seems to help the uploading process run more smoothly.
The other option is to upload via FTP or in your File Manager inside your Cpanel if you have access to it:)
Hope that helps!

In reply to: My custom css is available to see on my websiteHi Carol!
There isn’t a problem with users being able to see your custom CSS. It’s not a security issue. However, if you have links that are being directed to this page it is a little odd for the user:)
I would probably just go through my site and edit the links that are directing users to your CSS page.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: I hate blocks. Can I go back please?Hey Peter!
Have you tried the Classic Editor plugin? /plugins/classic-editor/
I’ve had some great success with it on many of my client’s sites. You don’t have to do anything but download and activate. Obviously, run a back up first for good measure.

In reply to: [Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin] completely UnistallI’ve used this plugin in the past to remove data left over from plugins that I couldn’t find or didn’t have the time to search through my db. It works really well.
Ah! That makes sense:) We have an S3 bucket backing up as well.
Thanks for your help, Ashley!
