Hello, I haven’t used another plugin, just disabled the avatar. I regarded this topic is separate from the low quality of the avatar image as it was different from the actual outcome of the issue that needed to be resolved.

I did hit two birds with one stone by disabling the avatar, but it seems a shame to deactivate it, but the hassle it seemed to resolve it seemed beyond my skill.

Hello, I stopped using the avatar as it also caused my https on the site to be messed with. So I cant personally report anymore on this.

I’d especially like it if the posts where labelled the privacy level, like another member said in another post.

I think I have found it. All In One WP Security is my security plugin and I have since disabled some of the firewall settings. Since this I have found I can upload the files as I wish. I’m gonna speak with All in One next to find out how to sort this out.

I have the same issue. It is causing many issues on BP let alone having to double press all action buttons. It is such a shame for such a useful plugin.

I would like to clarify that a file link directly on the website and “right click save as” on my mobile device will download a 45mb file in under a minute. This is either on wifi or 4G, so it confirms to me their isn’t a speed of delivery or server throttling or glitching. I have tried the different type of download..eg the x sendfile and force download but neither have improved the situation.

Sorry, I didn’t highlight that when talking about 4G, I am talking about my mobile..It is a Galaxy Note 3…an up-to date phone.

I think the child theme setup sounds the best solution. It is starting to go beond my knowledge though when you mention creating a new function. Ideally a logo for the home page and then a function that has no function would be perfect for the rest of the pages. I dont really need anything at all for this area.

Would you mind suggesting some way if approaching this with the child theme approach you suggested.

Hello. Yes the latest version is installed. I do have the username lockdown flagged but I know the username is correct. It seems to think to treat the password as the username in a way.

Hi, yes, I tried to return it back to default without disabling the option. I was stopped getting to the login screen from that moment on. Yes, it might be better if you add this feature to select registered users/admins that can enter via this portal rather than such a wide user base.
